Season Tickets

Just nipped down, it was simple enough. They just gave me tickets straight the way, and the bird who served me was bang tidy!!

Not the point though, should have had my season ticket about 2 weeks ago. But at least its sorted :)

If this has been brought up somewhere else on the forum, i apologise, but its Tuesday and we play Reading at home on Saturday and my season ticket still hasnt turned up. Has anyone else received theirs or we all in the same boat??

mine have arrived at last... does anyone know whether the new barcode system is in place today?

Who's in charge of the ticket office anyway? Surely they need to be fired, or at least have a written warning...I thought these Thais made all their money in airport retail - they should know how to sort this shambles out at least!

Farcical.

Fair to say there were alot of disgruntled supporters.

I wonder what the clubs reaction would be to a letter with an expenses claim for the mileage and time that it took for me to get down to the ground and back again.

My season ticket hasn't come either so had to go down and they printed a Reading and Bristol City ticket off for me.

Thing that frustrates me is, went down Monday said you will get in a couple of days Friday arrived nothing, went down Friday and said you will get it in two days.

They were posted out weeks ago now, probably 1st class so obviously it's been lost, been posted to the wrong address or not posted out at all.

It will come they say, course it won't come it's had enough time to arrive and everyone in my area has got there's.

Flaming farce to be honest.

Called in today to change my dad's senior ST to an Adult because they want to charge £21 instead of £4 per game now to upgrade, ticket office didnt have a clue how to cancel the senior ST and replace to Adult, going to have to ring me back Monday.

No sign of any senior staff, No jim, lucy or the asian lad who is a wizkid on the computers, just generally a clueless bunch in there today.

My nephew forgot his ST too, so I said can I get him just a ticket printed off today, "yes sir, that will be £18" was the reply, now I have to go back weds night show them the ST and today match ticket to get my £18 quid back, good job I bought my wallet, would they have even let him in?

Not happy at all, particularly as a senior ST works out at 14.30 a match and they want £21 to upgrade to adult, what seat in the Kop costs £35.30? got a name of simon capper, who is a finance director at the club, going to direct something towards him on Monday morning in the shape of a verbal volley, if anyone wants me to have a rant about their fooking ST not arriving then drop me a line and I'll gladly chuck your two penneth in too.

Did anyone understand yesterday? I mean, whats the point in having these swipe cards when we have nowhere to swipe them and just give them to the steward like in previous seasons.

For example, I have two copies of my season ticket (like other people on here), whats stopping me giving my other ticket to another person and us both going to the game, etc. Know what what I mean? I don't think the club have gained an advantage with these cards.

how can the club prove if you have been to the game or not?

if you can't attend a game and you wanted to get extra tickets for another game surely you could easily blag them if theres no actual record that you have been to a game?

I was told when I picked up my replacement tickets on Saturday that some were only posted on Friday. Still not got mine

With loads of tickets going 'missing' did anyone turn up at Reading to find someone sitting in their seat, having used the missing ticket?

 What a cheeky bastard.

Still not received mine like.

Is anyone else still playing the waiting game or am I the only one???

No mate, I'm still waiting too. I called again on Tuesday afternoon. The chap said if nothing had come through by today to call them again to arrange for it to be re-issued. I can then go to the ground and collect it.

Complete farce, if it hadn't arrived by last Tuesday, that's over a week since it was supposedly sent, then it isn't coming.

I wrote a complaint letter to Susan Whelan too and hand delivered it to reception last Saturday - needless to say I am still awaiting a reply to that. Probably lost in the post too!

it is getting beyond the joke now. I'm on holiday all next week so can I rely on them to post me a new one whilst I'm away or do I rush to the ground early on saturday in the hope that there is one waiting for me. I've sent an e-mail but no response yet

I wanted to save my daughters ticket for the Brizzle game as she couldnt make it, as per the website Ticket Office I tried to hand her ticket in before the game, to find the usual queues out through the shop

I asked if I could just drop it off, but was told "I had to queue"! Not wanting to miss kick off I went to the normal turnstile and asked the operator, he said he would hadn it in and tell them it wasnt used.

They are supposed to post out the ticket "straight after the game"

I emailed the ticket office Weds night, no surprise I haven't had a reply!

Will I ever see her ticket again?????

Just rang the ticket office. They are (finally) reprinting my season ticket and I can collect it from the ticket office.

Strange thing is, they offered to post it out to me. Isn't this the same postal service they used when my original was "lost in the post"? Weird how they still trust such an ineffective service that caused them such problems last time. Unless my original was never posted.....

Anyone notice against Bristol, the guy at the turnstiles had a pen and paper and counted each person that walked through? Well mine did, he had a nice tally chart going.

Are we going to be getting the barcode scanners soon?

Apparently September.

Is it that complicated that it takes nearly 3 months after the season starts before its installed?
