Jaspa Posted 18 August 2011 Posted 18 August 2011 I might actually stop coming here for a few months, I can't deal with these topics much longer. It's an addiction comrade It starts with an itch and ends with you jumping around the room screaming at some infadels responce We need help
Ozwin Posted 18 August 2011 Posted 18 August 2011 It's all these over reactions, all these people thinking we've got a god given right to win everything, all these morons finding scapegoats after 3 games and picking players who had perfectly good games at that. Makes me want to poke rusty forks into my eyeballs.
harryboi72 Posted 19 August 2011 Posted 19 August 2011 Hes looked decent enough, just seems low on fitness to me,but that might be just me.A the end of Wednesdays game he just seemed absolutely knackered
liamsm Posted 19 August 2011 Posted 19 August 2011 Hes looked decent enough, just seems low on fitness to me,but that might be just me.A the end of Wednesdays game he just seemed absolutely knackered how the fvck can he look decent but be low on fitness and be absolutely knackered? no wonder lots of people are saying he played crap
AndyElZorro Posted 19 August 2011 Posted 19 August 2011 He'll have a blinder against the Treescum tomorrow!

Fox92 Posted 19 August 2011 Posted 19 August 2011 There have been a lot worse this season so why pick him out? I have to agree with this. Games can shape the look of a player, but no way as Konchesky been worser than any of the other players.
Benji Posted 19 August 2011 Posted 19 August 2011 So basically, over the course of 3 games on here we've almost covered every player we have, stripped them of any positives and determined they are shit footballers. Going to be a long season.
easilee Posted 19 August 2011 Posted 19 August 2011 I hope to God that the players don't decide to peruse this forum at the moment. Embarrassing.
Fox92 Posted 19 August 2011 Posted 19 August 2011 I hope to God that the players don't decide to peruse this forum at the moment. Embarrassing. If they were to read some of these comments, then hopefully they would be showing abit more passion.
easilee Posted 19 August 2011 Posted 19 August 2011 If they were to read some of these comments, then hopefully they would be showing abit more passion. Maybe. I think that supporters need to be a little more empathetic in regard to the footballing side of things. No-one here knows how a player is feeling when they are being booed or berated. You can only imagine it cos i'm pretty sure most fans don't play a damn thing in front of 200 people every week, never mind 20,000. I've seen plenty of passion over the past couple of weeks. Shit football, but no shortage of passion. Not from all the players but the overly used P-word is relative anyway. No doubt some will mention the wages the players are on etc. etc. but I'm willing to bet that these players would still be playing football even if there was no big money in it. They love the game. If they were to read some of these comments, they'd be within their rights to either think 'well f@ck you too you tossers', or completely lose any confidence whilst playing at 'home' in front of a so called home crowd. imo
Far Post Gerry Posted 20 August 2011 Posted 20 August 2011 Empathy is the key word. A lot of people here will have played in front of a hostile crowd at some point, whether it be a handful of hecklers down PowerLeague, park football or otherwise. Does it help? Does it heck. If you're having a bad game the last thing you need is people getting on your back. Especially your own so-called fans. Unfortunately some people just treat football like a pantomime - cheering and jeering and saying all the lines. The word 'support' seems to get lost somewhere.
harryboi72 Posted 20 August 2011 Posted 20 August 2011 how the fvck can he look decent but be low on fitness and be absolutely knackered? no wonder lots of people are saying he played crap the reason hes looked deent is because hes playing well just low on fitness,as soon as he get full fitness he will look even better, its quite simple to understand tbh
Babylon Posted 20 August 2011 Posted 20 August 2011 then hopefully they would be showing abit more passion. What a pile of crap.
Guest Col city fan Posted 20 August 2011 Posted 20 August 2011 Well you must be looking at the sky rather than his performances then. What's he done right? Let me begin. His defending is solid, MUCH MUCH better than van Aanholts last year. How you can say his positioning is bad is well beyond me, he's always back at the time needs be, he organises himself perfectly and doesn't get skinned. He can track back from attacks as we've seen, when Bristol tried to hit us in the counter, Koncheskey tracked back and did the right thing. His movement is top notch, whilst some of his long over the top balls are not great, he moves in to some great space for people to pass it to him so he can go on the attack. Whilst his attacking ISN'T the best, he does a lot more right then he does wrong and I can't see how you can slate him as he's been one of our better performers clearly. If you don't see this then you clearly need your eyes testing. So yeah, it's just you. Good day. This... I agree
lcfcsnow Posted 20 August 2011 Posted 20 August 2011 He did, the weak link in a very decent defence today. He was winding the forest fans up 1st half, bit too cocky for my liking considering his performances.
kingfox Posted 20 August 2011 Posted 20 August 2011 Watching the game online he certainly didn't have a shocker. Think the left side was a bit quiet in parts of the game, Konchesky was yet again excellent in the first half but tailed off in the second played quite poor in the second half but not really bad. Firm 6/10 for him today in my view, but Pantsil was the better of the two full-backs
superfox1980 Posted 20 August 2011 Posted 20 August 2011 Should have been substituted today looked tired and was out of position a lot in the last 20 mins. Been ok so far this season for me. Nothing special.
Jonezy Posted 20 August 2011 Posted 20 August 2011 Not great today. Gave the ball away too much and looked out of position too often, but hopefully he will improve as the team starts gelling.
