Is it me or has anybody else noticed Paul Konchesky getting progressively worse each game?

He looked very good in pre-season and was assured vs Coventry (who wouldn't?)

The last two games he has been close to sambolic.

His positioning leaves me speechless sometimes. He never seems to be in the right place.

His forward movement is an afterthought and his crosses are average.

It has got to the point where I wouldn't mind PVA back . . . :o

Were you at any of the games this season? Paul Konchesky has been one of the better performers out of the whole bunch of new signings this season. I love the guy and he hasn't put much of a foot wrong.

So yeah, it is just you.

Thought he played well first half, then the same mistakes and doubt seemed to set in to him too. Could be I noticed them more because every single one was punctuated with "KONCHESKY'S SHIT... GOD HE'S SHIT" by the [loyal supporter who has a right to air his views because he bought a ticket] in front of me.

Let's start a thread with every squad player's name as the title and then proceed to say how shit they are.

In fact, I think that may have already been done. Waghorn? Check. Mills? Check. Konchesky? ... HOW MANY MORE? I'm really bored of all this shit now.

Yes.

Defensively he wasn't any worse than the others. Seems rather slow going forward though, although he and Peltier never really went forward, mostly because is they went forward there would be zero cover on the right or left hand sides.

This just proves...in a free country every asshole has an opinion, why this lad has been singled out for stick is beyond me...konchesky has been one of the very few pluses so far this season.

Full of basic errors for me last night, I think he's a better bet than PVA away from home but doesn't offer nearly as much going forward.

I'll give him time, he's not looked that bad, but like I say - basic errors.

This is one of the worst articles I have ever seen in my entire life.

Konchesky so far has been one of our most consistent performers and better players.

Against Madrid he played well, against Coventry I heard he put in a consistent performance.

Even against Reading even though he didn't attack that well, he was one of a few players who deserved credit from that game.

Last night he attacked superbly, defended well against a dangerous opponent in Adomah.

For me Konchesky has been one of our best signings so far.

I apologise for discussing a Leicester City player on a Leicester City Forum.

I watched him closely and he was very average. Watch him against Forest closely and then see if my 'completely outrageous views' are worthy of a thread.

Not worth whatever we paid for him. Unlike last season, our full backs are very much safety first, one of the main reasons why we can't score or build attacks.

fully agree with you! konchesky has been brilliant but Gallagher last night never helped him, such as when Konchesky wanted to do one two's but gallagher never did and always brought the ball back.

Well you must be looking at the sky rather than his performances then.

What's he done right? Let me begin.

His defending is solid, MUCH MUCH better than van Aanholts last year. How you can say his positioning is bad is well beyond me, he's always back at the time needs be, he organises himself perfectly and doesn't get skinned. He can track back from attacks as we've seen, when Bristol tried to hit us in the counter, Koncheskey tracked back and did the right thing. His movement is top notch, whilst some of his long over the top balls are not great, he moves in to some great space for people to pass it to him so he can go on the attack. Whilst his attacking ISN'T the best, he does a lot more right then he does wrong and I can't see how you can slate him as he's been one of our better performers clearly.

If you don't see this then you clearly need your eyes testing.

So yeah, it's just you.

I haven't blamed our shocking start on one player either. I made an analysis on a player I have watched closely every game. Maybe people who say he has been playing really well actually don't know much about being a FB.

Infact I'll take a guess that you're the 'intelligent' one's who partake in the phone-ins.

This forum is like 1940's Germany.

He kept smashing long all the time, that pissed me off but he was okay! I thought peltier was the worse of the two full backs, much prefer paintsil!

no i never have and never will, i love listening to them on phone-ins. I'm just getting annoyed by the constant threads saying why have we got him, sven out etc.
