But for sheer atmosphere the One Big Sunday gig with 100000 at Vicky Park in 2001, the day after we stuffed Germany 5-1, has to be the top gig ever! He decked one bouncer with his guitar as they tried to tug him off. The crowd then decided to take the marquee, rip it up and start again [© Disco Bob Quips ] For someone a tad effete, he rocked. Robert Plant & Jimmy Page, Walking into Clarkesville Bob Dylan, Bare Naked Ladies x 2 Dave Matthews x 2 Ray Charles x 4 Supertramp, Famous Last Words Pink Floyd x 3 Duke Ellington Eric Clapton x 4 Bryan Ferry, Bette Noire Ringo & His All Star Band, 2001 The Who, Quadrophenia Fleetwood Mac Everly Brothers Wow that's one awesome list. I have seen Dave Matthews (without his band) and he was awesome as were Barenaked Ladies. I'm desparate to see them again when they come back to England next year. Such a funny and unique band!
