Quite clearly talanted yet we got rid and played some French no mark for a lot of that season instead. Loved what Pearson did for us but dropped a major bollock on this one. Think Gallagher was more of a direct replacement than Kermorgant. Also cost four times as much as we sold Gradel. Not one of Pearson's better moves.

We're already effectively nine points off the pace counting goal difference and, seeing as we're short of goalscoring wingers and have no attacking full-backs I think that makes us far too limited in attack to get consistent victories. We're also shipping two goals a game and have our best centre-back playing elsewhere. So, lots of gaps to plug yet by which time we could slip even furher off the pace with Southampton being a far sterner test than Forest, Reading and Bristol City.

The position in the table, the league we play in are not important to me.. I love my club through thick and thin ( in every league we've been in). I bow down to Nick's superior mind and he's footballing knowledge and ability.. But back to the thread.. I doubt Max will come and would be surprised if he did, if he did I've no doubt he'd do well for us. His creativity and scoring would be very much appreciated by all.
