Sorry if its been posted elsewhere but on Sky Sports News at 7:30 this evening, there is a documentary/report about the Hooligans based in Ukraine. So any

of you are off to the Ukraine like myself, may want to have a look.

I watched this. I think large parts of it were over hyped. For example, it made references to these guys in 'training' for England fans - apart from a few, what could be, throw away remarks in a peer group situation, the only training that I could see was one of them who had apparently been in the gym everyday!!! More fool him as well, he'll get muscle burnout if he goes everyday...

It did, however, advise against Asian fans travelling - which begs the question, should the tournament be held in such a country (s)?

Oldham Athletic fan in peace here. Struggling to find any sort of online discussion regarding England fans travelling to the Euro's.

Managed to get tickets for Ukraine v France and Ukraine v England (half my family are English, half are Ukrainian so split loyalties!)

I'll be in Donetsk from the 13th til the 22nd June and in one of those Soviet style dorms. Would be up for a meet up if any of you LCFC lot are too? I'll be travelling with a Spurs fan and a United fan

I am also staying over during those dates and will be in management hostel 2 or something to that affect.

Definitley up for a meet up. Must admit lacking research on Donetsk and what it has to offer but the sounds ive been hearing are "not much".

They did a similar documentary on the 'dangerous street gangs of South Africa' back in 2010. The same street gangs who were responsible for approximately 0 reported crimes.

Doesn't seem to be much going on in Donetsk. By the sounds of it, there's a couple of bits like a park, art museum, cathedral, stuff like that in the area but not a lot else. Doesn't seem to be a really touristy place. But I suppose with 3 group games a day being shown on huge screens, we're not likely to get bored!

Although if it does get dull, it doesn't seem that far to travel down to Mariupol, which is on the Azov sea shore. So a beach could be worth a visit. Overall, it doesn't sound like it's gonna be as dull travelling to Donetsk as some people are trying to make out!

Really hope that these reports of England fans only selling 3000 tickets aren't true. I'd love to see a fair few of us out there

I have done some limited research already on beaches. Mariupol has industry so sea is poluted. Best place seems to be Urzuf (urzuf.com), there are lots of buses to this place from Donetsk.

Just had a quick look through my bookings. I'm in Hostel #1 which is the Donetsk Uni of Economics and Trade. Anyone else in there?

Absolutely can't bloody wait for this! Seen England a couple of times at Wembley but never been to an international tournament before

We're in there too for the France game and #3 for the Ukraine game. There's 5 of us in there. Flying out on the 9th, what about you pal? We've been a few away games but not a tournament either, away games are cracking!

I'll be there between the 13th and 22nd June, as I'm seeing games on the 15th and 19th.

I reckon it'll be a lot of fun! I don't think Ukrainians are as bad as that Sky Sports report made them out to be. I remember when Dynamo Kyiv played Man City last season in the Europa League, I was in the Kyiv end and there was no signs of trouble at all

Looks like they went on sale for a brief period, and then stopped. Guess we just have to watch this space...

Yep, I was lucky to log on and book mine at midnight although I have been checking it pretty much every hour

Not surprising I suppose, but it will be kind of strange because were so used to see england fans outnumber most other countries, and so far 8 other countries have sold more tickets than us.

Still think they'll be about 8-12k of us out there .... I'm sure that number only includes tickets through the FA.

Buzzing! Cant wait!

I paid around £15 for Kharkov to Donetsk tickets and £60 Kiev to Donetsk tickets all first class. I wont be using the latter as I'm not going to France game. They are 2 sleeper tickets for the night before the France game - I'm open to offers for these train tickets as the refund services seems a nightmare.

Also, be careful with google translate as it converts UAH into USD hence prices very expensive as they are out by a factor of 8.....
