We keep playing like this and we'll be fighting at the bottom end rather than the top. 6 games in and no improvement at all. I know it takes time for a new team to get going, but i would have expected more than this by now.

Gotta pull our fingers out sometime soon, and don't give me the its only been 5 games bullshit, because we said this last year, we were in a worse situation this time last year but we still are not doing very well and it will cause problems later in the season. My big question is why do we even bother with a defence? Seems Kasper is the only one defending our goal. Pressure builds.

The defence is still a complete shambles, blatantly dont work on it during training. Set pieces are wank. Every time its 'and its cleared at the near post'. Sven's team selections are poor. Why play Gallagher? Why not have a striker or centre back on the bench? Why do we play 4-3-3 when it isnt working at the moment?! Crazy. Should be winning these games or at least grinding them out. No where near being a good eam at this rate. Fukcing glad I didnt go.

Sounds like a generally poor showing, with the exception of Kasper The biggest concern for me was our lack of ability, after Kingy scored, to then go on and command the second half....instead, Kasper pulled off some super saves to keep us in it Beckford is an injury prone player and this may prove a problem. Generally unhappy, not about only getting a point, but about what sounded like another boring performance. West Ham win 4-2 today and look like they will romp the division Formation wrong again? sounds like it....

cc_star Posted 10 September 2011 Posted 10 September 2011 Kasper sounded great & barring his MotM performance we'd have comfortably lost Same old mistakes elsewhere though Team selection, (I like Gally as a player but he's been nothing other than a letdown over these 6+2 games), bench selection (no forward wtf?) a formation that the players just haven't a clue what to do, questions over motivation we never seem in the right frame of mind appalling set pieces (do the players even see each other away from matchdays) We leaked goals, Sven signed 14 loan defenders we still leaked goals, Sven spent millions on permanents we still leak goals... only now they can't pass to a blue shirt either giving the ball away so much means we're under more pressure than we need to be Midfield were lost in the formation, coaching questions again? Forward line was largely speaking ineffective probably down to midfield not really sure what the answer is other than the manager to get a grip, change what must be an under-performing coaching staff and get angry - get them in for double training and demand more of this talented & underperforming bunch of players
