Charl91 Posted 10 September 2011 Posted 10 September 2011 It's not about the result. If we played good football, and narrowly lost, I'd be much happier. The truth is we're playing shit football and spent shed loads more then pretty much any other team. Dress that up in all the optimism you want.
Grewks Posted 10 September 2011 Posted 10 September 2011 its simple, either sven goes or we continue to play 4-5-1, which makes us look weaker at the back and going forward.
JmorsonLCFC Posted 10 September 2011 Posted 10 September 2011 Had Norwich or Swansea spent in excess of 10m during pre-season? lets not get a few facts get in the way of reality eh? arsenal have spent 53 million! they're 11th! just scraped a 1-0 at home to swansea, and got analed 8-2 by man utd! stop moaning
Charl91 Posted 10 September 2011 Posted 10 September 2011 arsenal have spent 53 million! they're 11th! just scraped a 1-0 at home to swansea, and got analed 8-2 by man utd! stop moaning Yes, but I don't think Arsenal fans are all saying "look at the positives" and "it's only 6 games in" either. Moot point.
Brown Fox Posted 10 September 2011 Posted 10 September 2011 Had Norwich or Swansea spent in excess of 10m during pre-season? lets not get a few facts get in the way of reality eh? They may not have but the point still stands that they still got promoted even though they are apparently shit according to you because they weren't top. Money is actually irrelevant in that statement. It's only been 6 games and there are 40 games left. Calm.

Father Ted Posted 10 September 2011 Posted 10 September 2011 If you go on the OS and look at the fixtures/ results and put last season in, you can press the TB initials for the table, at that point of the season(sorry if you knew this) Guess what this time last year Norwich on 10pts and Swansea on 9pts. Yeah im not happy with a draw, but as its the club i support i rarely am,but a long long time to go. oh and the season before, our playoff year we had 11pts at this stage!! Im really not fussed about how many points we have had in previous seasons etc, or even this season. The point is we are simply not playing good enough bar 80 minutes at forest and the first half vs southampton. What do these have in common? We didnt play 4-5-1 yet sven persists in playing that CRAPPPP formation which should be banned forever.
Charl91 Posted 10 September 2011 Posted 10 September 2011 ****inghell this forums full of miserable bastards I'm sorry the world isn't rainbows and unicorns for all of us.
Guest Col city fan Posted 10 September 2011 Posted 10 September 2011 To all those who swallowed the pre season bollocks whole. So we are not going to piss the league, welcome to the real World. Now please stop overreacting and show some support for the team you are supposed to love. What pre season bollocks? We were pre season favourites to win the league, along with West Ham.... Are you saying the bookies were wrong? Maybe, just maybe it could be that the bulk of us feel let down with some of the poor performances we have seen so far this season.... Don't make me not a fan, makes me feel let down so far. Who are you to say that people feeling this way ain't fans? Go and fook yourself
ta-fc Posted 10 September 2011 Posted 10 September 2011 oh sorrry yeah we should have won the league by now i wish we were back in league one..or maybe administration..the good old days....jog on you utter twat Are you genuinely that stupid???? At what point did I suggest (we change league rules) and Leicester should win the league after 6 games... What I did suggest (again if your tiny intellect can cope) is that we should have a better return from the money spent... if Sven couldn't deliver that maybe he's not the right man for the job... Then again we'll try it your way and petition the league that Leicester should be awarded the league due to you not being able to hold a decent argument against Sven...
Father Ted Posted 10 September 2011 Posted 10 September 2011 ****inghell this forums full of miserable bastards Ever heard of being REALISTIC? Some of the football we have been playing reminds me of the days of Levein, De Vries, Hamill, Momo Sylla and Elvis Hammond. Call me miserable but negative football breeds negativity.
Charl91 Posted 10 September 2011 Posted 10 September 2011 Apparently blind optimism is the way foward. Just stick our heads in the sand and everything will be alright. "In Sven we trust".

Glad were on the same page!
Legend_in_blue Posted 10 September 2011 Posted 10 September 2011 Unfortunately for us the mistakes Sven was making last season are all too apparent again this. You would think that a manager with his experience and know-how would have at least sorted this out by now. But no, he hasn't. He insists on a 4-3-3 when we do not have the personnel to do so. He insists on playing one way. He is devoid of an alternative plan. Come on Sven, basic errors. Made last season, and are continuing to be made this. The squad of players we have are far better than this. He cannot hide behind any excuses, this gelling crap is a load of nonsense. It boils down to amateurish decisions on a tactical level and that for a manager who is "world-class" is disappointing to say the least. No matter what league you are in.
ta-fc Posted 10 September 2011 Posted 10 September 2011 6 games into the season. yes. Ok let me rephrase is.... quality of football good enough for you?
JmorsonLCFC Posted 10 September 2011 Posted 10 September 2011 Are you genuinely that stupid???? Brighten up pal there's 40 games left. And tiny intellect? Haha I got 12 A-B GCSEs mate.
Leicester_Loyal Posted 10 September 2011 Posted 10 September 2011 Good post mate. Only 6 games in and it was ALWAYS going to take a long time for a completely new team to gel. We will click and then watch us go. People keep saying that though? We'll beat Brighton then lose the next game, and the same people will be saying "Only 8 games in, we need time to gel" We've had 6 league games, 2 cup games, a pre-season, aswell as an international break. If the team haven't gelled by now, then they won't gel at all.
promised land Posted 10 September 2011 Posted 10 September 2011 I agree anyone who mentions SGE being sacked is a tool. We're 10th though. We could be 10th at Christmas and still end up 2nd. I'm confident we'll hit a good run of form at some point. Tool you say, over on the far left of our section today near the top where fans were starting to stand there was the 'tool of the decade' ranting on and on about sacking Sven, players are no good, broke up a good team. The man was a complete retard, no doubt he has high blood pressure as well as his head looked like a beetroot after he shut up. This was all before King scored.
ozleicester Posted 10 September 2011 Posted 10 September 2011 Ok.. has anyone looked at the table... we are 3 points... THREE POINTS outside the playoffs, thats one win... and thats with 36 games to go. 1 Brighton 6 7 16 2 Southampton 6 7 15 3 Middlesbrough 6 7 14 4 West Ham 6 8 13 5 Derby 6 3 12 6 Cardiff 6 3 11 7 Blackpool 6 3 11 8 Crystal Palace 6 2 10 9 Hull 6 -2 9 10 Leicester 6 -1 8
cc_star Posted 10 September 2011 Posted 10 September 2011 We all know we left it with too much to do last year & the fear is the same is happening again and whilst results are disappointing rather than disastrous like last time we can turn it around, this is why people are being so vocal along with the fact the manager is making same mistakes of last season, unsuited formation, square pegs round holes & odd team selection. Simply hoping the team will gel & magically turn into world beaters like Sven's defenders seem to be saying is a false hope, something else needs to happen rather than just the passage of time else what are paying £1.5m a year to Sven for?

Of course he's genuinely that stupid...... The general level of intellect on here appears to have gone down so much this year. Thank God there are still peeps on here like Babylon, Thrac, Marbella, Spherical and even Nick who make it still worth coming on Fox 92 is a good addition too IMO
Legend_in_blue Posted 10 September 2011 Posted 10 September 2011 You can all talk about there being 40 games left and fair enough. There can be 150 left if needs be. It's irrelevant. What's relevant is the fact that Sven continues to persist with a system that doesn't suit his squad of players and fails to deliver a plan B. But what does it matter, there's 40 games left. Of course, this was being said almost a year ago. What's changed? Not a lot, same ineffectual system, different players.
Happy Fox Posted 10 September 2011 Posted 10 September 2011 Ok.. has anyone looked at the table... we are 3 points... However, if we truly expected to get promoted, we should have expected to win at least 4/6. People talk about us going for promotion, but then compromise it with "I expect to drop points against this, this and this team" and by the time you've worked out all of those points that we'd have dropped, we'd be finishing mid-table.
