I wanna book a table at a curry house for a group. Wheres best?

I've been feast india a fair bit, but I think you tend to over eat at buffet and enjoy it less at the end. Someone has reccommended The Tiffin restaurant on London Road...

The Tiffin? Ask your bank for a loan first mate they charged me £40 for a normal takeaway! And it wasnt great either

I don't eat fruit, veg, anyting spicy, cheese, rice, can't do Italian, Cantonese, Mexican......if it's not a steakhouse I'm fcuked.

Jesus! Did I see you on Freaky Eaters? Are you trying to find out what happens if you just eat crisps?

Aroma Spice in Birstall isn't a bad little Indian.

This shits on most of Brick Lane. Great Chicken Naga there.

I fucking love curry and I spent 5 months in India eating it. As such believe me when I say the majority of Brick Lane really is much of a muchness - far better stuff nearby at places in Whitechapel such as Tayyabs and Needoo Grill (highly recommended if any of you are ever in the area).

Really not eaten much curry in Leicester (apart from Aroma Spice) but reckon you lot living there have got it very good.

The Indian in Narborough is good - not Spice 45, the other one at the Heritage.

Bangla Lodge in Cosby is also decent but we tend to go there for takeaways which are the best I know in the area as they always add in extra free of charge.

The one in Arnesby is good that used to be a pub on the corner..Spice42 or 52 in Narborough is good also, as is the one in Cosby.. I just signed up for 50% discount card for 12 months on main meals.. Means we can have a quality take away for about £11... Poppadoms, pickles, rics, bread and 2 mains... And good quality. The card cost £25 and got a £20 off voucher when bought it.. That means only £5 which you save on your first meal order.!!Love it

That sounds like a great deal. Shame i live in Derbyshire....

Mem Saab is a no no for me, to expensive and not close enough to a home made indian meal!

The Blues pub in Oadby have got a new menu and it is foxing great. tastes really nice and good variety. they have nice beer too (which makes a change as most Indian restaurants have crap beer)

http://www.bluesoadby.co.uk/eating_52_3.html

beer is crap with a curry, i always get a nice bottle of wine - loads better

not much of a beer + curry mixer myself. Prefer water!!! but the beers there are spot on everytime. (my local)

Im hungry now...

Should have just made your own.

I made myself a very nice, very spicy chicken curry for dinner - not out a jar mind, made the sauce from scratch.

No buddy. Gotta say too Syston Fox, I've had some shockers at Spice of India ( Funny enough when we were the last ones left in there!)

My local restaurant - a quality venue.

When you next go, check out the temple that's been built next door.. lol

If you like take away, try India Gate on Watergate Lane, it's very home cooked proper style, and the meat is from my local butchers, hence good quality!!!

I concur, and I used to go school with Pip who owns it.
