Happy Fox Posted 27 September 2011 Posted 27 September 2011 http://www.mirrorfootball.co.uk/transfer-news/Liverpool-and-Stoke-are-linked-with-German-wonderkid-striker-Jeffrey-Schlupp-of-Leicester-City-article805027.html Sven Goran Eriksson is ready to offer teenage wonderkid Jeffrey Schlupp a new deal in a bid to scare off Liverpool and Stoke. Leicester boss Eriksson wants his board to open talks with the 18-year-old over a bumper pay-rise and ensure the striker, who only signed a contract last April, stays at the King Power Stadium. Schlupp, a Germany Under-19 international, has impressed this season, scoring four goals already, and Premier League scouts have been regularly watching him.
The Doctor Posted 27 September 2011 Posted 27 September 2011 **** off stoke you anti-footballing **** rags.
CKB Posted 27 September 2011 Posted 27 September 2011 I'm not worried about this, he will stay here and learn his game more and then become a regular.. He will be here for many years to come yet i reckon, unless someone offers silly money
Bob Weasel Fox Posted 27 September 2011 Posted 27 September 2011 We shouldnt let the Schluppinator go anywhere, he is a LEICESTER CITY player so other teams do one!!!!
Jimmy Posted 27 September 2011 Posted 27 September 2011 the chance to learn from Dalgleish and train with the likes of Suarez he'd jump at it, that said I don't think they or Stoke are really interested
Bryn Posted 27 September 2011 Posted 27 September 2011 He'd probably be very successful at Stoke. Can't see him being a successful Liverpool player.
nuttytimmy Posted 27 September 2011 Posted 27 September 2011 We shouldnt let the Schluppinator go anywhere, he is a LEICESTER CITY player so other teams do one!!!! "The Schluppinator" Also, I hope he signs a new deal at the KP. A true example of our great academy set-up. That, and he keeps the 'Eriksson's just in it for the money and only buys overpriced rubbish' nay-sayers at bay.
Happy Fox Posted 27 September 2011 Author Posted 27 September 2011 jeffers92 jeffrey schlupp "@LCFC91: @jeffers92 have you seen this. mirrorfootball.co.uk/transfer-news/… Rubbish i hope" the 1st ive heard from it mate
He's not bald Posted 27 September 2011 Posted 27 September 2011 Total bullshine..the lad has yet to prove himself, in no doubt he will and then move on to bigger and better things but not yet....can just see him playing for the Germans in Brazil in 2014 and knocking us out!
Happy Fox Posted 27 September 2011 Author Posted 27 September 2011 I doubt that this story is bullshit, Fanhouse Percy is usually reliable as far as LCFC are concerned, this probably highlights the scenario, that we need to get Schlupp tied to a bigger contract to sway the vultures.
Tuna Posted 27 September 2011 Posted 27 September 2011 Stoke. **** off. Premier league giants, you're having a laugh. Pulis is a nob.
Guest DavidJCW Posted 27 September 2011 Posted 27 September 2011 I'd be disappointed if he went to either of them to be honest... here he has a chance to build on a great start and really establish himself as a first team player... he's never going to get those sort of chances at either Liverpool or Stoke.
Guest MattP Posted 27 September 2011 Posted 27 September 2011 He is a good prospect but "wonderkid"? WTF. I wouldnt be looking to sell him yet, clearly has some potential and should be allowed to develop here. Do find it strange he has ended up here though? The Bundesliga is the best in the world for bringing young talent through.
Dan Posted 27 September 2011 Posted 27 September 2011 Hmmm, worrying. It's a shame how little he actually plays, I feel if he was at somewhere like Watford or Barnsley he'd be an absolute regular and he'd shine, here he's pretty limited in terms of first team action, albeit he gets to work on far better facilities and would get far better guidance.
MC Prussian Posted 27 September 2011 Posted 27 September 2011 If only people would learn to stop posting articles from the Mirror.
LilMissFox Posted 28 September 2011 Posted 28 September 2011 Hope Sven holds onto him, he's better than more than half the signings Sven's made this season
Mack Posted 28 September 2011 Posted 28 September 2011 He would be dim to move to either to bench warm. He will get chances with us, and he is no where near ready for the Championship yet let alone the Premier League. I am sure the scouting circles are all aware of him but he has a lot more to prove yet.
Karljohn Posted 28 September 2011 Posted 28 September 2011 Stoke! the mighty Rory Delap throw! and the one dimensional Peter Crouch, One of the many reasons why the Premiership is so dull. Yet more lazy "journalism".
MC Prussian Posted 28 September 2011 Posted 28 September 2011 Even I could write for the Mirror. But then again, there's something called standards.
jonthefox Posted 28 September 2011 Posted 28 September 2011 Just another story filler i think. However dafter things have happened.
