Many disliked us beforehand for our dull, negative football over the years and the state of our old ground and I can't blame them for that

I wouldn't go as far to say that people even dislike us, for many supporters we're just there, like, say, Barnsley or Watford....just one team out of the 72 Football League teams.

Look up my second post on the matter. 2/4 stands can be considered crappy, so at very BEST it was 50% crappy. I liked it, mind, it was still crappy though.

Other teams have their own songs, which are known universally: Blowin Bubbles, Delilah, Walk Alone etc... I bet no opposition team would know about WYS or have heard it. This thread would be more useful as a campaign to sing WYS more frequently, louder and with hand signals like it used to be at Filbo!

The lack of originality in the songs that actually get an airing now, fvcking riles me really, it just pisses me off how so many of our fans will just resort to the obvious, boring, generic songs and then look around funny when something a little new/different is tried, granted something new would take time but why laugh at someone trying something new, and then sing something generic like this is a shithole over it. Pisses me right off, I don't know where the hell all our so called decent mentality from the 80's/90's (I was born in 93 hence the "so called") has gone, I really don't.
