KIRBYFOX93 Posted 8 October 2011 Posted 8 October 2011 If we did make the promised lan who do you think could cope against a premiership side and who couldn't? Who i think would - Kasper Bamba Mills? King Fernandes Beckford Nugent Who i think wouldn't - Wellens Peltier? Still young lots to learn Konchesky Vassel I think we would need an out an out midfielder if we do go up and a proven prem striker would be nice? Thoughts Up the blues
Schlupp Posted 8 October 2011 Posted 8 October 2011 I think Peltier could tbh,He's shown some real skill although it will take him abit to adapt.
AKCJ Posted 8 October 2011 Posted 8 October 2011 Schmeichel Peltier Mills Bamba Fernandes Johnson King Beckford They'd all make it I think.
Rodders Posted 8 October 2011 Posted 8 October 2011 I think we would need an out an out midfielder if we do go up and a proven prem striker would be nice? Thoughts What's one of those? Not trying to criticize; I genuinely don't know what that means! Out-and-out striker, yes. Out-and-out midfielder
accessory Posted 8 October 2011 Posted 8 October 2011 Schmeichel Peltier Mills Bamba Fernandes Johnson King Beckford They'd all make it I think. Not sure about King on this season's evidence. Nugent and Abe might be OK though..
JadeFalcon Posted 8 October 2011 Posted 8 October 2011 plz not another thread on this subject, please post to one of the already existing threads, tnx
Fox92 Posted 8 October 2011 Posted 8 October 2011 Kasper Mills - He could make a decent defender in the Premier League in my opinion. Nugent Wellens - I still think Wellens could, he'd probably have more time on the ball as well. Peltier - I think Peltier can. He's young but has shown alot of promise. Vassell - I think Vassell has a Premier League season in him again Abe?
NewburyFox Posted 8 October 2011 Posted 8 October 2011 I'm sure Konchesky could cope, given that he spent a good few years in the Premier League with Fulham and West Ham.
MikeyT Posted 8 October 2011 Posted 8 October 2011 Peltier would be fine i think as would Abe. He has played against some of the best players in the world. He's not a Japanese International for nothing.
Happy Fox Posted 8 October 2011 Posted 8 October 2011 I rather we wait till we get in the prem first before discussing whether players can make the transition or not
Fox92 Posted 8 October 2011 Posted 8 October 2011 Peltier would be fine i think as would Abe. He has played against some of the best players in the world. He's not a Japanese International for nothing. This is true. I rather we wait till we get in the prem first before discussing whether players can make the transition or not "if"
AKCJ Posted 8 October 2011 Posted 8 October 2011 Not sure about King on this season's evidence. Nugent and Abe might be OK though.. Abe was shocking in his first few games. Granted he has improved. Although Nugent has looked good he has been nothing but shite in the Prem previously. Whether or not that will change is up for your opinion.
Jace Posted 8 October 2011 Posted 8 October 2011 Schmeichel Peltier Bamba Mills Konchesky Abe Beckford (not including loan players)
Charl91 Posted 8 October 2011 Posted 8 October 2011 I'd like to think that most of our squad should be good enough to at least have a chance of avoiding relegation. I think we're stronger then when we gave Man City a good run for their money.
Thracian Posted 8 October 2011 Posted 8 October 2011 Used properly and in a fast-passing team King would make an excellent Premiership player in the Martin Peters mould. Otherwise. Kasper, Nugent, Bamba and maybe Peltier. Beckford appears to have shown he has the ability but I've seen nothing first hand yet to convince me he should even be in our Championship side. The only other "possible" is Schlupp, and why not? The lad's got pace, strength, touch, an instinct for goal and the ability to recognise when to pass and when to be selfish. He also seems versatile enough to play elsewhere which is a plus.

dannythefox Posted 8 October 2011 Posted 8 October 2011 Kasper Mills Bamba Peltier King Abe Danns Nugent Beckford If we get up we will have it bring another 5 or so players anyway .
KIRBYFOX93 Posted 8 October 2011 Author Posted 8 October 2011 What's one of those? Not trying to criticize; I genuinely don't know what that means! Out-and-out striker, yes. Out-and-out midfielder It means a box to box fighter.... Not just to score goals but to break up play .... Joey barton esc
dog_4 Posted 8 October 2011 Posted 8 October 2011 goalkeeper and defence is fine! we need to buy an entire new midfield and a top quality striker! owners said they wanted to set up ties with real madrid regarding loaning some of there players! pedro leon, sergio cajllion (can't spell it) buy lassano diarra, and thiago alacantara from barcelona, who like selling youngers with a buy back option! may all sound daft but remember estimated £90m to spend and eager to sign big name players to draw the crowds in! can't really think of a top quality striker!

Alvaro ****ing Morata! I've been saying it for ages Although, when 4 different attackers scored last weekend. I can't see how our front line is the problem
Guest MattP Posted 8 October 2011 Posted 8 October 2011 Think some people are seriously underestimating the PL here. The poorer sides in the league gave players like Gary Cahill in defence. Nugent? I'm sorry but already proved to be miles out of his depth in the top flight. Maybe Mills could make it, Fernandes and Konchesky could in their prime but not sure now. Beckford looked ok but wasn't a regular in a team that struggled for strikers. King doesn't merit a place in this division half the time. Kasper might be in time.
wellyfox Posted 8 October 2011 Posted 8 October 2011 FFS four weeks ago we was shite n going down. Now we are picking who is good enough for nxt season in the prem. By xmas some will be buying players for the champions league. I have said all along I think the squad is good enough to get up given time. But lets be real so far most of the squad have only had a couple of good games. Players for the prem at this min 1 Kasper

Brilliant Probably the most highly rated youngster in the whole of Spain who's already been capped, played a fair few games for them this season and has recently signed a 5 year contract with a E90m buyout fee.
Corky Posted 8 October 2011 Posted 8 October 2011 Kasper Konchesky Bamba Mills (maybe) King Beckford Fernandes Abe

He's still got a few years before he gets to his prime.
