fox ache Posted 24 October 2011 Posted 24 October 2011 Martin o`Neil........... God, i hope so, but very much doubt it, took us to 6th in Prem at the time with no money, got nothing to prove as hes always gonna be a legend here. Billy Davies would be my next choice
Fox92 Posted 24 October 2011 Posted 24 October 2011 Why do people want Davies? He bottled his leicester playIng career after 3 games because he was homesick. He's a moaner and failed ultimately as a manager at derby and forest. As for the wally with the brolly shteve? Even worse. He made Preston a top Championship team which made the play offs. He led Derby to the Premier League via the play offs. He took Nottingham Forest from the bottom regions of the table, made them a force and led them to two play off campaigns. I wouldn't say he failed at Derby or Nottingham Forest. His teams are always organised and strong. His players always look determined and motivated. I would take Billy Davies, no doubt.
fox ache Posted 24 October 2011 Posted 24 October 2011 McClaren ................... YOU ARE NOT WANTED HERE
lestajigs Posted 24 October 2011 Posted 24 October 2011 Mon, but can't see him coming back, so Billy Davis for me
Jace Posted 24 October 2011 Posted 24 October 2011 the bookies clearly haven't a clue when Holloway is in the running
fatmando Posted 24 October 2011 Posted 24 October 2011 Can't believe the news! MON would obviously be first choice. Would take Mark Hughes though definatly. Owners won't settle for anything rubbish that's for sure. McLaren & Davies can foooook right off!
WardyisPukka Posted 24 October 2011 Posted 24 October 2011 It'll be a 'big' name probably foreign either way they wont know this league and how to get out of it anymore than Sven Exactly DavieG - the thais havent got a clue about english championship football!! As far as im concerned they can piss off back to thailand with this decision
RedHux Posted 24 October 2011 Posted 24 October 2011 Billy would love having your cash to throw about the place. Fairly certain he'd find something else to moan about though. I am rather surprised you got rid of Sven though....I hear there's another former England man who's looking for a job?
Bilbo Posted 24 October 2011 Posted 24 October 2011 So the long list of Leicester managers continues...what a joke. Can somebody please tell me what sacking Sven will achieve? He had assembled a squad that was beginning to gel/take shape and managed some great results including beating some of the league's strongest sides such as Southampton, Brighton and Derby. If we had won against Millwall we would have been in the top three. Now we have to find a new manager who needs to hit the ground running with a squad they didn't put together. What a joke. The owners have messed up catastrophically with this decision.

dylanlegend Posted 24 October 2011 Posted 24 October 2011 Maybe Beckham said he would only come as manager?
Wortho Posted 24 October 2011 Posted 24 October 2011 I wouldn't mind Hoddle or Curbishley but I can't see that happening. As long as it's not Dowie, Hoofroyd, Reid, Mclaren or Robson.
bluefox9er Posted 24 October 2011 Posted 24 October 2011 If it's Mclaren, then I'm f***ing off me too. McLaren would be a disastrous appointment. Thank god Warnock has a job, else his name would have been banded around, too.
marko Posted 24 October 2011 Posted 24 October 2011 I wouldn't mind Hoddle or Curbishley but I can't see that happening. As long as it's not Dowie, Hoofroyd, Reid, Mclaren or Robson. Appointing that clown would be tantamount to footballing suicide.
Bilbo Posted 24 October 2011 Posted 24 October 2011 Even the Florist scum can't believe it - a quote from their forum below. While I love watching bad things happen to leicester, this is criminal. They have a fantastic team on their hands which will walk this league when the umpteen amount of new signings become comfortable with each other. ****ing joke. I hope there's another reason for this.
step Posted 24 October 2011 Posted 24 October 2011 Does Anyone know if the club has said when it will be making an announcement

I am rather surprised you got rid of Sven though....I hear there's another former England man who's looking for a job? Unfortunately Bobby left this mortal coil a couple of years back so I can't see him looking for a job at the moment.
Ozwin Posted 24 October 2011 Posted 24 October 2011 If we get Billy Davis I'm done with this club.* *ok maybe not done, but I'll wave my fist in frustration and tut quite loudly. I will not be happy.
fox ache Posted 24 October 2011 Posted 24 October 2011 Just a question....... What are the odds for Billy Davies ???
sbfox Posted 24 October 2011 Posted 24 October 2011 So... - people moan when we appoint Sven - people moan when we're less than a third of the way into the season, sitting less than two wins off our target for the season - people moan when Sven gets sacked - people moan about who's gonna replace him When did our club get so fvcking tedious? Most of you lot can bore off, it fvcks me off no end how sparse these boards are after solid win, but whenever we have some adverse news, its crawling with whiners.
