How fickle some of our supporters are a few weeks ago you were all saying the team was brill after beating Derby, and i agree that everybody is entitled to an opinion, including myself,

How well did Ferguson do in his first full season at Man U, oh by the way they didn't look organised when being beat 6-1 to man city shoul Man u sack Ferguson?

FFS will people (that obviously know feck all about football) stop compairing Ericksson to Ferguson the only thing they have in common is the last 3 letters of their surname!

surely the board have somebody lined up, would they sack Sven without something in the pipeline? Martin O Neill favourite atm can't see it happening though would be epic, I think Mark Hughes could be quite likely

Massively disappointed. But grayson is my shout. Knows the league well, is young and has a Passion for leicester, even though fans gave him shit. Knows how to get Beckford scoring and worked with Kasper. A solid champ experienced manager please. Got a sneaky feeling it will be mclaren

There is going to be enough discussion over the when's, why's and how's of Sven's sacking, but putting Sven to the side, who do we want in to move the club forward??

Are these people on your list??

Dave Jones - Consistent in the play-offs each season at Cardiff

Chris Powell - Currently top of the table with Charlton

Simon Grayson - Doing a solid job with a Leeds team short on funding

I'm not going to Veto discussion on Martin O'Neill, but it does look unlikely that this would happen.

Lets discuss......................

Well done everyone, you call yourself supporters if we won that millwall game we could have been second, all those moaners and disloyal fans hope your happy can't wait for Steve mclaren or some rubbish like that.

That's the problem, its all coulda woulda shoulda under Sven, Southampton with Nigel Adkins arent saying if we would have done this and that, they are just doing it, he couldnt break top 6, fact, and the way we performed on Saturday we were on our arse, you know it, I know it, too many shit teams have had our pants down already, do you think Sven gives a shit when he walks away tonight with 7 figures on a cheque?

Curbishley would be a great appointment but not a big enough name for the Thai's.

I'd put money on Ancellotti, big name, successful and has recently said that he wants to manage again- albeit in the Prem

it will be o'neil or hughes it will already be sorted the thais are not stupid! Just proves they dont take any shit and there very serious about getting up.

So annoyed with this for a multitude of reasons.

Firstly, before any idiot comes and tells me I'm a Sven lover, pipe down. I am not happy with where we are in the table or how we have been performing on the whole because we have been too inconsistent.

Sven has not done as well as we should be doing with such a talented squad and I am well aware he has his flaws and that there are indeed better managers out there.

However, sacking him now was not the answer.

When will you trigger happy fans not see that what ruins football clubs is instability. Instability and the constant changing of managers and personnel was what led to our demise after Adams had gone and ultimately it is the reason we got relegated to league 1. Whether or not it was a blessing in disguise or not is besides the point, because had we stuck it out for longer earlier on, we would never have been in the same situation.

Now, we are looking for another manager and I am genuinely struggling for answers. Any big foreign names will be similar to Sven in that they'll be used to working with amazing talent and having large sums of money, they will still struggle to adapt their style to this division. Not to mention the fact that even if we get a manager who understands this division to some extent, that they will be using a team which is already under-performing (hugely according to some) that is not theirs and will now be even lower on confidence and team morale.

When will people learn that you just can't sack managers whenever you feel like it. Sven was not doing good enough but the alternatives to keeping him are simply worse and make us more likely to fail.

I hope everyone who wanted Sven out is happy, because something special is going to happen now if we're to get anywhere this season.

It'll be a 'big' name probably foreign either way they wont know this league and how to get out of it anymore than Sven

One defeat all season. And Manchester City arn't exaclty in the bottom three with a average squad.

Most of you know i'm not a bullshitter (i.e. i've been here for years and never claimed to know anything!), so here goes (and i pray i'm wrong)...

I have it on good authority that Alan Shearer is in the frame. Honestly.

Apparently Gianluca Vialli was seen in the directors' box on Saturday.

Might be worth a flutter at the bookies - though maybe not to get us promoted.. :(
