City1884 Posted 24 October 2011 Posted 24 October 2011 I honestly hope that the raksriaksorns have got a new manager lined up, lets just pray it isn't McClaren. I'm also a little concerned that some people want Billy Davies, could anyone give some input into their thoughts on that one?? On a positive note, lets all be just a little thankful that we can actually try and attract some decent managers at the current time, I remember when the names we were being linked with weren't people like Hughes, Ancelotti, O'Neill, or even Jones..............................................we were linked with the likes of Curbishley and Dowie!!!
He's not bald Posted 24 October 2011 Posted 24 October 2011 We have got big name players in our squad now so although the likes of Lee Clarke would be a great appointment he's not a big enough name either for the owners or the squad, my money is on the fact that MON has already been tapped up, however I think he's the wrong choice
liamsm Posted 24 October 2011 Author Posted 24 October 2011 FFS will people (that obviously know feck all about football) stop compairing Ericksson to Ferguson the only thing they have in common is the last 3 letters of their surname! You are obviusly just a shite stirrer who knows very little about good football as your profile picture proves and if i knew as little as you i agree i would know feck all but as it is my knowledge of the game is obviously great than yours becvause i state about men playing the game nmot cows you silly moooo
kingfox Posted 24 October 2011 Posted 24 October 2011 A big name in the shape of O'Neill, Hughes, Ancelotti or Benitez Or a young manager with big aspirations in Clark or Grayson.
Yojoe36 Posted 24 October 2011 Posted 24 October 2011 FFS. You have to be retarded to want Rafael "fatboi" Benítez. He'll do f*** all. Maybe worse. Billy Davies or GTFO

dannythefox Posted 24 October 2011 Posted 24 October 2011 The thais must no there only one man for the job MON he left last time because he'd taken us as far as he could now we have money he might see it as a fresh start. The fans would go mental if he came back and it would give EVERYONE a massive lift he would get us out us out the league no problem.
Guest Bilo Posted 24 October 2011 Posted 24 October 2011 Current betting with William Hill: MON: Evens Billy Davies: 6/1 Simon Grayson: 8/1 Slaven Bilic: 8/1 Mark Hughes: 10/1 Gary McAllister: 10/1 Ian Holloway: 12/1 Steve McClaren: 14/1 Dave Jones: 16/1 Alan Shearer: 20/1 Nah, they don't have a clue either.
Wonk_V71 Posted 24 October 2011 Posted 24 October 2011 If Mcclaren comes to Leicester i aint going to a match til he leaves. I will actually seriously consider suicide because I can't watch my club do the same
Cropwellfox Posted 24 October 2011 Posted 24 October 2011 Apparently Gianluca Vialli was seen in the directors' box on Saturday. Might be worth a flutter at the bookies - though maybe not to get us promoted.. The line i saw was he was spotted at watford game - ex boss there, surely coincidence?
Corky Posted 24 October 2011 Posted 24 October 2011 I'm sure I saw Paul Robinson, the Bolton defender, at the Watford game. Player-manager?
Aberdeen_fox Posted 24 October 2011 Posted 24 October 2011 I want Martin O'Neill back. It's a risk that he could come back and ruin his god-like status but I'm confident he'll succeed and get us up.
marko Posted 24 October 2011 Posted 24 October 2011 Curbishly has just been talking about it on SS1 and didn't rule himself out.

funkyrobot Posted 24 October 2011 Posted 24 October 2011 Why do people want Davies? He bottled his leicester playIng career after 3 games because he was homesick. He's a moaner and failed ultimately as a manager at derby and forest. As for the wally with the brolly shteve? Even worse.
TrentFox Posted 24 October 2011 Posted 24 October 2011 Most of you know i'm not a bullshitter (i.e. i've been here for years and never claimed to know anything!), so here goes (and i pray i'm wrong)... I have it on good authority that Alan Shearer is in the frame. Honestly. Jeez !!!! Even in his brief stint in charge at Toon, where everybody wanted him to be the next Messiah, he looked completely out of his depth. Sven or Shearer .... even the Sven haters would struggle with that one, surely ?? Actually - scrub that .... more important to prove oneself right than ever it is to find the truth !!
lcfc_sam_p Posted 24 October 2011 Posted 24 October 2011 Everyone seems to think there must be someone already lined up. Wouldn't mind curbs. Anyone but dowie or mclaren.
Webbo Posted 24 October 2011 Posted 24 October 2011 Mc Claren obviously has had some success but he's a bit too nice, a bit like Sven (if that was the problem with Sven). Mark Hughes or DiMatteo would do for me.
lestajigs Posted 24 October 2011 Posted 24 October 2011 Mon, but can't see him coming back, so Billy Davis for me
