chili_con_carne Posted 26 October 2011 Posted 26 October 2011 as you know I wasnt a Sven man miself...but to get rid of Sven to replace him with Brian McDermott!!! Behave yerself....! At the end of the day why do you think Mcdermott isn't a good manager? ever since he took over Reading they have been selling all there good player's and he continues to do well there. People are getting too big headed about Leicester since we have all this money. we are in the championship and we are 14th. O'Neill would never have come back here.
Kitchandro Posted 26 October 2011 Posted 26 October 2011 Everything I know I've said in my post before the last post that I made, which was a broken down post of the post I posted before this post that I'm posting now. Fuck it, I might become a postman. So is he coming Bert?
Bert Posted 26 October 2011 Posted 26 October 2011 So is he coming Bert? I'll let you know after I've finished my round in the morning.
Guest Col city fan Posted 26 October 2011 Posted 26 October 2011 Once again not confirmed until it's on BBC Sport, hope is still there. no..all hope is gone... I'm off to read one of Spherical's blogs... it will help me to cry myself to sleep.....

There are better options, whether O'Neill is in the frame or not.
shass Posted 26 October 2011 Posted 26 October 2011 Martin O'Neill has ruled out a return to Leicester City, after deciding that it would be a mistake to go back to a club where he enjoyed five years of unprecedented success. The Northern Irishman had refused to dismiss the idea initially and was giving serious consideration to finding out more about the club's potential under their Thai owners but, after weighing up the pros and cons, O'Neill has come to the conclusion that returning would be a risk not worth taking. Fox1651 Posted 26 October 2011 Posted 26 October 2011 Come on Martin, come back to Leicester . . . . . . . . Please
flanimal Posted 26 October 2011 Posted 26 October 2011 O'Neill won't come. He wants Man Utd job when Ferguson quits or dies. The owners will probably hire another shitter like Sven. The dream is over. Now let's all shoot ourselves in the head.

wurmer Posted 26 October 2011 Posted 26 October 2011 This is dead - it was never alive - we should speculate about other names now. If he doesn't want to come/be considered then bollocks to him frankly - he was fantastic for us in the 90's, but we were just a stepping stone to him - and he clearly has no wish to return. This is a fantastic opportunity, great stadium, great fans, great academy & training facilities, money, owners who are interested and seem genuinely concerned about the views of the fans.
Jimothy Posted 26 October 2011 Posted 26 October 2011 O'Neill won't come. He wants Man Utd job when Ferguson quits or dies. The owners will probably hire another shitter like Sven. The dream is over. Now let's all shoot ourselves in the head. Now I'm not saying he'll come here but, as I said the other day, if O'Neill wants the Man Utd job (which Moyes will get anyway) there is no point in him sitting around waiting for it and just expecting to get it when Fergie eventually goes, he has to take a job and prove he can still do it. By the time Fergie goes MON might well have been out of the game for 5-10 years, are Man Utd going to want to touch him with a barge pole if that's the case?
Happy Fox Posted 26 October 2011 Posted 26 October 2011 Shame really about MON oh well, lets hope Lee Clark or Simon Grayson get the job
flanimal Posted 26 October 2011 Posted 26 October 2011 This is dead - it was never alive - we should speculate about other names now. We need to just allow the sadness of O'Neill rejeecting us to wash away. Our club may be dead, but at least when Iain Dowie takes over we can enjoy League 1 football in 2 years. RIP Martin O'Neill and Leicester.
themotivator Posted 26 October 2011 Posted 26 October 2011 i literally cant believe we've seemingly sacked sven at this stage in the season with nobody lined up
Guest shearfox Posted 26 October 2011 Posted 26 October 2011 i literally cant believe we've seemingly sacked sven at this stage in the season with nobody lined up Should have at least waited tell the international break, now we have three games coming up pretty shortly and no manager in place.
foxsake123 Posted 26 October 2011 Posted 26 October 2011 I think he'll take the job, but on the short term. Here 'til the end of the season and then weigh things up. That would make sense if we were in the premier league and he was going to steady the ship / avoid relegation. Whilst the Thai's i'm sure would love to have him. They are giving him a job, not the other way around. If this is what he says the Thai's should tell him to shove it.
chili_con_carne Posted 26 October 2011 Posted 26 October 2011 I cant answer you..I'm too upset at present. If I feel better tomorrow I'll send you my reply then Fair enough mate! Anyway it is better to expect the worst cuz then you won't be as dissapointed if it doesn't happen. But ecstatic if it does! We all want Martin O'Neill back but if he doesn't then there are a lot of other decent managers out there who could get us promoted.
Joeb.lcfc Posted 26 October 2011 Posted 26 October 2011 Why sack Sven now with no immediate replacement lined up?
crisp packet Posted 26 October 2011 Posted 26 October 2011 Has he come out and said he doesn't want it? I.e quoted? From a video from ssn or bbc ? If not we will know soon after papers hit shelves ...The media be in touch (with mon) becacause as per usual tinternet gone mad!!!! Go sleep wait and see ..... But all rumours and mishmash taken from other sources...?
Skullfisher Posted 26 October 2011 Posted 26 October 2011 Sad thing. Ole Gunnar Solskjær is the best man to choose now. But, please God, not Roy Keane....please no.....
