m00nie Posted 3 November 2011 Posted 3 November 2011 Their director categorically said today we hadn't even made an approach, that is the only concrete information we have that isn't heresy an hour later, to probably save face, Clark then said he didn't want it anyway... still dont mean its true.. was a day off for htfc yesterday so who knows what really went off... maybe clark was pissed the story leaked and was ran in the morning paper..
terry2simmo Posted 3 November 2011 Posted 3 November 2011 I am off to the bonfire at The Great Central Railway Quorn tomorrow. If I see Gerry taggart I will ask him who is the best bet for manager. Whoever he says I will not disagree with him. Would You?.

Walkers Pallet Chauffeur Posted 3 November 2011 Posted 3 November 2011 I think you lot are forgetting our owners have no idea who Martin ONeill is Stringer said that MON was in charge of the first game that our chairman watched. So yes he knows about MON.
wurmer Posted 3 November 2011 Posted 3 November 2011 Their director categorically said today we hadn't even made an approach, that is the only concrete information we have that isn't heresy an hour later, to probably save face, Clark then said he didn't want it anyway... It's all very odd - I would have thought Huddersfield would have made a bigger deal out of it if we did interview him without permission.. So it's a choice of... a) We didn't interview him - pure media speculation. b) They gave permission expecting him to go, we interviewed, but they didn't want to admit that to their fans - hence the backtracking and denials... c) They gave permission, he didn't want to be interviewed and they backtracked, etc. d) We illegally approached and interviewed. e) None of the above - WTF happened only they know...
Wherethefoxhat? Posted 3 November 2011 Posted 3 November 2011 I think you lot are forgetting our owners have no idea who Martin ONeill is Mug !!
I am Rod Hull Posted 3 November 2011 Posted 3 November 2011 Too happy.... More like... Neil Warnock ? EDIT.. That really does look like him...

ARM1968 Posted 3 November 2011 Posted 3 November 2011 Enough already! All I said was that in my opinion Bert is in the dark about the next manager. No biggy. He's been right about some stuff and wrong about others. That's life. Same merrygoround tomorrow. Although we might find out a little more!!
terry2simmo Posted 3 November 2011 Posted 3 November 2011 I think that you are objective which is not negative but honest. Enough already! All I said was that in my opinion Bert is in the dark about the next manager. No biggy. He's been right about some stuff and wrong about others. That's life. Same merrygoround tomorrow. ARM1968 Posted 3 November 2011 Posted 3 November 2011 I'd be happy with Hughes. But if it's MON, and I believe it is, then the ticket office calls!
kyle09uk Posted 3 November 2011 Posted 3 November 2011 Why don't the owners just blackmail MON and say we've put all our money, and the club on the line at 13/1 at William Hill that your are new boss. What's it gonna be?
He's not bald Posted 3 November 2011 Posted 3 November 2011 Sky bet Mark Hughes 6/4 Martin O'Neill 2/1 Roy Keane 2/1 Nigel Pearson 9/2 Billy Davies 6/1 Lee Clark 10/1 Neil Lennon 20/1 Dave Jones 20/1 Kevin Keegan 25/1 Rafael Benitez 33/1 Nigel Adkins 33/1 Alan Curbishley 33/1 Karl Robinson 33/1 Dougie Freedman 33/1 David Moyes 40/1 Steve Bruce 40/1 Carlo Ancelotti 40/1 Marcelo Lippi 40/1 Slaven Bilic 40/1 David O'Leary 40/1 Brian Laws 40/1 Gary Megson 40/1 Bryan Robson 40/1 Chris Powell 40/1 Avram Grant 40/1 Alan Shearer 40/1 Gordon Strachan 40/1 Steve McClaren 40/1 Stuart Pearce 40/1 Didier Deschamps 40/1 Simon Grayson 50/1 Glenn Hoddle 50/1 Gary Lineker 50/1 Steve Claridge 100/1 Will wee myself if this happens now, just had the whole house carpeted so the wife will go crackers!
Benji Posted 3 November 2011 Posted 3 November 2011 IF we got MON, we might actually score direct from a corner
