trueblue06 Posted 4 November 2011 Posted 4 November 2011 I think today is surely the day we will hear something. As I see it I think only 1 out of 3 people. I could be wrong but I think its between MON, Mark Hughes and Roy 'Please Not Him!!!!' Keane.
coalvillefox Posted 4 November 2011 Posted 4 November 2011 The odds once again appear to have flipped themselves on their head, O'Neil is nearing favourite again after he supposedly ruled himself out, Billy Davies has hardly had a mention in recent days neither has Dave Jones but you cant count them out, Roy Keane is floating about but not many of the fans seem overjoyed by the idea of him managing their club and surely the owners know this, the only man who has been consistently high in the odds (I accept odds and not an indication of who will get the job) is Mark Hughes??? I say again what I said last night, If MON didnt want the job he would have made that clear in his phone call to Stringer yesterday so he could pass it on to the city faithful and be left alone on the matter but in not doing so he leave himself open to continued speculation. This is the most eagerly awaited appointment of an LCFC manager in my time as a fan (25 years) and pat on the back to the owners for keeping this so quiet, with how the media work these days and the contacts they have in football it appears that the Thai owners will not be breached.
ARM1968 Posted 4 November 2011 Posted 4 November 2011 I'm not sure they're stupid enough to go with Keane. They could still spring a surprise. Hope we hear something today. MON hopefully.
Master Fox Posted 4 November 2011 Posted 4 November 2011 All of this proves that 95% of what is written in the media is complete bullshit. They dont have a clue.
MikeyT Posted 4 November 2011 Posted 4 November 2011 Sry about that only just seen it Haha no probs, was just joking about.
ARM1968 Posted 4 November 2011 Posted 4 November 2011 It is quite odd though. Usually the media have at least some idea. Here they appear clueless.
somebum Posted 4 November 2011 Posted 4 November 2011 MARTIN NOW JOINT FAVOURITE http://www.oddschecker.com/football/football-specials/leicester-specials/next-permanent-manager 13/8

Fox92 Posted 4 November 2011 Posted 4 November 2011 All of this proves that 95% of what is written in the media is complete bullshit. They dont have a clue. The reporters are probably using this thread to make their stories! Anyway, I missed that boot room yesterday. What did Birch say, as a poster indicated yesterday that Birch let something slip about today?

What did Birch say, as a poster indicated yesterday that Birch let something slip about today? He was going through all the managers we've and at the end he said and then Pearson and now another one tomorrow! He must have slipped up!

BIEREDeLuxe Posted 4 November 2011 Posted 4 November 2011 Has there been a shitload of money on MON since midday yesterday? I had a small punt on him at 25/1 midday yesterday at WillHill and he's 5/2 this morning??
chriswright232 Posted 4 November 2011 Posted 4 November 2011 Today must be the day.....surely they will want a manager in place by match day on SUNDAY particularly with the opposition. Must be worth ALL three points if MON is on the bench or in the stand in the tracksuit........................bring it on ... Wonder where MON will be spotted today???? Lewis's /M&S/Pizza Hut or maybe on Sky Sports at lunchtime opps sorry I was dreaming there. Keep calm and at some point today pray.
Walkers Pallet Chauffeur Posted 4 November 2011 Posted 4 November 2011 All of this proves that 95% of what is written in the media is complete bullshit. They dont have a clue. NOBODY has a clue except the chairman.

Babylon Posted 4 November 2011 Posted 4 November 2011 I can just feel today is going to be absolute MADNESS. Normal day on FT then. I don't think anything will happen until next week now. As I said yesterday though, the longer this goes on the more you can't help think they are up to something pretty big. But then i' not sure how that ties in with their "someone with experience of this league".

Splitting hairs I know but would include more managers.
