I don't know that Sven was on double that amount, I just like pretending I know things. Sven was on £1million a year deal APPARANTLY which works out to roughly 20k a week so I wouldn't rule it out.

O'Neill is the only person I'd want, and it wont be him, so I don't want anyone. Agreed, no other name sticks out that I could imagine taking us up, that's not to say they couldn't. I'd personally pay Martin more than Sven and make our ambitions clearly known. Tell him we want European football and that he will be backed with the finances, also that we will upgrade the stadium etc. when we make it. BASICALLY promise him the world.

I've heard both talk about signing a possible player which was a rumour I started on Football Rumours myself. So, they both get their information from this website.
