chuck'em Posted 2 November 2011 Posted 2 November 2011 I'm aspiring to be like That is the sort of tache to make 99% of men inadequate
General Smuts Posted 2 November 2011 Posted 2 November 2011 2 days in and I think i've grown 1 hair on my chin.
Len Finsbury Posted 2 November 2011 Posted 2 November 2011 I'm doing this again this year too although, even at 38 my moustache growing skills are pathetic. It's shocking just how little it grows from week 2 onwards.
sphericalfox Posted 2 November 2011 Author Posted 2 November 2011 Wait til you all see my corker later. Aye but what aboot your tache?
Finnegan Posted 2 November 2011 Posted 2 November 2011 it's the second and Bert's already trumped Marsh's effort from all of last November. (Unless that's permanent marker, then shame on you.)
FoxyPV Posted 2 November 2011 Posted 2 November 2011 Fucking hell Bert, you were meant to be clean shaven yesterday!! Did you inject pure testosterone into your upper lip?
StanSP Posted 3 November 2011 Posted 3 November 2011 Are you sure you moved the clocks back and not your own calendar?!
sphericalfox Posted 4 November 2011 Author Posted 4 November 2011 I know it's difficult to see but there's murmurings of growth there, which hopefully given a few words of encouragement will flourish by the end of the weekend. Perhaps a donation from some our fine and outstanding members of this generous forum could find it within themselves to encourage growth with small financial donations. I'm sure that would work. If £1 or more could be released from everyone who reads this thread, I think a substantive spurt might occur.
DANGEROUS TIGER Posted 6 November 2011 Posted 6 November 2011 Right, I've not seen anyone else post there's up, but in a bid to highlight, support, and promote men's health and specifically men's cancer charity (that of which is poorly promoted and supported to women's), I've joined the Movember cause. I've personally been affected by cancer, as no doubt most of you have, but my Uncle recently was diagnosed with Prostate Cancer, and thankfully after having his prostate removed, and having further treatments, he's still alive to tell the tale, and promote awareness to an unforgiving illness, but one that can be be prevented if taking the right precautions etc. So I'm going to be getting involved with Movember, and I would welcome you to do the same, if only so someone asks you why you have grown a silly moustache, and the topic of prostate and testicular cancer is at least something that crosses that persons mind for that minute, day, or week, prompting them to consider the subject. Here's my mospace: http://mobro.co/PaulKellystache Perhaps Mark wouldn't mind, if other's share theirs, and for those who might not get involved to give charitably to those who are: friends, family, and colleagues. Now if only I could find a emoticon with a moustache! So when you see loads of moustachioed fellas around town, at the pub, and at the game, you too can wink and nod in appreciation whatever facial fixture you and they can muster! Well done indeed.
RichieRich Posted 6 November 2011 Posted 6 November 2011 Hi all, glad to see lots of guys supporting this great cause. Heard on the commontary that some of the city players are growing moustaches for Movember. Anyone know which ones are? Keep up the good work everyone and if anyone would be kind enough to donate or just have a laugh at my effort plaese head over to: http://mobro.co/RichardLudlam

Alexikokopops Posted 9 November 2011 Posted 9 November 2011 it's the second and Bert's already trumped Marsh's effort from all of last November. (Unless that's permanent marker, then shame on you.) I miss my 'tash
Vacamion Posted 9 November 2011 Posted 9 November 2011 I've done this for the last three years. I look a right pineapple just now and I have a customer facing job. I had to visit a customer's home yesterday, she was a lovely looking lady, and I could see her looking with disgust at my upper lip's week long growth... Keep it up, fellahs.
Samilktray Posted 10 November 2011 Posted 10 November 2011 I've discovered that having a moustache is more than just a facial hair style. It is a way of life, a way of life I might never turn my back on.
Len Finsbury Posted 10 November 2011 Posted 10 November 2011 Last year, I missed it when December arrived.

Houdini Logic Posted 11 November 2011 Posted 11 November 2011 My friend's doing this, though didn't realise it's generally for chairty and a way to raise money. What an absolute dickhead
