acooling08 Posted 1 November 2011 Posted 1 November 2011 Clarets forum I have to agree that 500 is pretty poor though.
sphericalfox Posted 1 November 2011 Posted 1 November 2011 Clarets forum I have to agree that 500 is pretty poor though. They'll be lucky to get there tonight the M61 is shut and the other roads north are gridlocked because of it with diversions.
Corky Posted 1 November 2011 Posted 1 November 2011 LeicesterFan1 must be MC Prussian, due to them putting apostrophes in numbers.
Swalker Posted 1 November 2011 Posted 1 November 2011 Why would people go to Burnley? Our support is usually good but its a Tuesday night and both teams are playing bad. Why would we want to go?? Will McKenzie: I like football, but I don't like Burnley. Burnley can **** off
Neil_LCFC Posted 1 November 2011 Posted 1 November 2011 What has population/catchment area got to do with it ? 50% of Leicester's population are ethnic and have no interest in football whatsoever, so that blows that argument out of the window. When Burnley average more fans than us home and away then they can start crowing about it until then shut it.
Kitchandro Posted 1 November 2011 Posted 1 November 2011 500 is poor for us. It's the average for them.
lestajigs Posted 1 November 2011 Posted 1 November 2011 And what Lesta fan said we took 5000 to cov?? Wasn't it more like 7000??? And more like 3000 to west ham??
Podge Posted 1 November 2011 Posted 1 November 2011 Meh, let them. Can't blame people who have to pick and choose away days for choosing to skip a midweek jaunt to Burnley.
Ashley Posted 1 November 2011 Posted 1 November 2011 at Burnley fans. If it was a reverse fixture they would bring about 175 on a Tuesday night.
Kitchandro Posted 1 November 2011 Posted 1 November 2011 And what Lesta fan said we took 5000 to cov?? Wasn't it more like 7000??? And more like 3000 to west ham?? And 4700 to Forest. Didn't we take 1500 to Rotherham as well? 500 isn't that surprising considering how deflated a lot of Leicester fans have been recently.
Father Ted Posted 1 November 2011 Posted 1 November 2011 Wow. I swear they bought like 300 to our place on a Saturday last season. Wow.
Fox92 Posted 1 November 2011 Posted 1 November 2011 It is a cold Tuesday school night. It is a fair distance from Leicester, and we are not exactly top of the league. Burnley is a sh**hole anyway, I went there last season and I'll say - never again. Don't listen to them. Who likes them anyway? I am sure everyone hates Burnley, as I do. Hope we hammer them.
Houdini Logic Posted 1 November 2011 Posted 1 November 2011 What has population/catchment area got to do with it ? 50% of Leicester's population are ethnic and have no interest in football whatsoever, so that blows that argument out of the window. When Burnley average more fans than us home and away then they can start crowing about it until then shut it. I forgot if you're not white you can't like football
The Doctor Posted 1 November 2011 Posted 1 November 2011  Come on, transport links to Burnley are shit - if I were to go I'd have to sprint back to train station and spend 3 hours in either leeds or preston, or wait 'till 6 the following morning. Add into that a sizable distance from Leicester and a tuesday night game - 500 is a decent turnout.
Soar Fox Posted 1 November 2011 Posted 1 November 2011 I very much doubt they would bring many more considering the circumstances. People would have to take at least half a day off work. It's a Tuesday night. Alot of people would have spent alot of money at West Ham on Saturday. Oh and it's f**king Burnley
Ford Super Sunday Posted 1 November 2011 Posted 1 November 2011 Burnley may mock our support, which isn't bad considering all the circumstances. But they have to remember that at the end of the day, they live in Burnley, and we don't. And that automatically makes us better than them.
Corky Posted 1 November 2011 Posted 1 November 2011 at Burnley fans. If it was a reverse fixture they would bring about 175 on a Tuesday night. We'll see in the reverse fixture, which is also a Tuesday match.
MC Prussian Posted 1 November 2011 Posted 1 November 2011 LeicesterFan1 must be MC Prussian, due to them putting apostrophes in numbers. Nope, that's somebody else. But apostrophes in numbers is the way forward.
tomtom Posted 1 November 2011 Posted 1 November 2011 I'll tell you now and I'll tell you firmly I Don't ever want to go to Burnley what they do there don't concern me why would anyone make the journey !
1964FOX Posted 1 November 2011 Posted 1 November 2011 I am in the cricket club next to the ground waiting for the match. I have only come to see Burnleys world famous legendary support. I imagine on an equivalent fixture they would bring thousands, I am so in awe of them if only my club had support like theirs. I will be so jealous when I look around their packed stadium this evening.
Simmo86 Posted 1 November 2011 Posted 1 November 2011 Burnley would struggle to bring 500 to us on a Saturday. Do they not know we took 3000 fans to West Ham on Saturday at 32 quid a pop! 550 is a more than decent turnout for cold Tuesday night in a glum northern shithole!
tomtom Posted 1 November 2011 Posted 1 November 2011 http://m.youtube.com/index?desktop_uri=%2F&gl=GB#/watch?v=6kLhZTP4ywY
FuriousFox46 Posted 1 November 2011 Posted 1 November 2011 How can Burnley (aka the most boring club in football) mock our support. Even if we are a massive City, we have successfull egg chasers on our doorstep. Burnley is the least interesting tie of the season on a cold Tuesday evening.
