But in all seriousness... really looking forward to the debut Spector album. Maximo Park's new release was immense, too.

Also, those of you who knew about Francesqa and them splitting up a few months ago will be happy to know they have reformed under a new name (2 of the band members making a new band effectively) and now go under the alias of MMX. Their new single is 'Cold World':

And for those of you who like All The Young, they have a new single out. It's called 'Another Miracle'. Here's the video:

Thanks to MTWG for reminding me about MMX and apologies if they've already been mentioned!

I do like the album a lot.

When Zane Lowe played all 9.53 of this the other night I thought he might actually have a cry lol... he just seemed delighted about being allowed to play a track that long and that brilliant!

For all those that are interested, 'Handwritten' by Gaslight Anthem is available to download on Itunes, day early I believe. Already heard some of the songs from it, sounds quality. Potentially one of the best albums of the year..

Wintersleep's third album is by far better than their bland sophomore effort (which I didn't like at all) - Hello Hum offers playful rock at its best.

There just aren't any mainstream artists around now that I would actually listen to.. my music library is the 60s-90s on youtube.

Look at artist that are not mainstream?

So, as it turns out Cliffy Biro are releasing a double album - The Land at The End of Our Toes & The Sand at The Core of Our Bones.

Nice little throw-back, as opposed to the usual "here's 12 tracks, now shut the fuck up for 2 years" notion.
