blueblood Posted 9 November 2011 Posted 9 November 2011 Anyone?? Can't really see why he's on the payroll...
Ziggy1990 Posted 9 November 2011 Posted 9 November 2011 ...Didnt Sven just bring him in so he could regain match fitness after several long term injurys? Seemed a bit of a pointless exercise to me Either way, he crys like a bitch on Football Manager when you dont play him.

steveherbe Posted 9 November 2011 Posted 9 November 2011 Hmm, Ball doesnt get a game, Vassell out for the rest of the season, Fernandes mysteriously disappears from our squad - I spot a connection. If Johnson suddenly goes awol, that'll be all the Man City hangers-on disappeared in just a couple of weeks. I strongly suspect there was a split squad here, the pro-Svens here for the pay day, and the Leicester players here to achieve for us - or is that one conspiracy theory too far?
mod hero Posted 9 November 2011 Posted 9 November 2011 let's have a spot the ball competition cock or ball?
Saxondale Posted 9 November 2011 Posted 9 November 2011 He's no Roberto Carlos but there's worse players to have as back up.
Adster Posted 9 November 2011 Posted 9 November 2011 HA! On Fifa 12 he's not bad, not much pace, but he's got a good tackle He's got more pace on FIFA than Koncheskey
FrankieWorthoYaggedMyWife Posted 9 November 2011 Posted 9 November 2011 Anyone?? Can't really see why he's on the payroll... Who are you going to play at left back if Konchesky gets injured? By your reckoning we only need 16 players all season....
Fox92 Posted 9 November 2011 Posted 9 November 2011 I personally think Ball isn't good enough. How many games has he actually played?I went to Rotherham in August and he looked poor. When does Tom Kennedy return? After all, he was a Pearson signing and could find himself on the fringes again, Pearson must have seen something in him. To be fair, he hasn't been given a fair chance and Sven just went ahead and signed Ball. Kennedy could provide back up to Konchesky, who I feel might be on the line with Pearson.
MPH Posted 9 November 2011 Posted 9 November 2011 I think we should send him out on loan.... get some games and fitness up ala Tunchev... have a recall option if Koncheskey gets injured and everyone is happy...
Dan Posted 9 November 2011 Posted 9 November 2011 Don't think he was needed, exactly what has he done to show he's a better bet than Bruno Berner?
blueblood Posted 9 November 2011 Author Posted 9 November 2011 Who are you going to play at left back if Konchesky gets injured? By your reckoning we only need 16 players all season.... How, from the above, do you gather that I think we only need 16 players!? I'm asking where he is because I haven't heard anything about him. To answer your question- Bruno Berner ahead of Ball any day. Good day.
Raj Posted 9 November 2011 Posted 9 November 2011 Another one of Svens knee jerk signings just for the sake of signing someone?
Raj Posted 9 November 2011 Posted 9 November 2011 Is Tom Kennedy still around? No BUT That Kaebi fella is!!!
Fox92 Posted 9 November 2011 Posted 9 November 2011 Is Tom Kennedy still around? I think he is on loan at Peterborough. The reports he had in the reserves were good though (before he went on loan to Posh), he played only one game for us and Sven never game him a chance at all before bringing in Ball.

Played on Saturday vs Derby, he looked ok.
TravellingFox Posted 9 November 2011 Posted 9 November 2011 Michael Ball was a pretty good player. The injuries he's endured.... Surprised he can even kick a ball.
Fox92 Posted 9 November 2011 Posted 9 November 2011 Played on Saturday vs Derby, he looked ok. Exactly. He is probably better back up than Ball.
eaststandtom Posted 9 November 2011 Posted 9 November 2011 ball, johnson and fernandes should be released. we have enough options as stowell said we have 6 right footed centre midfielders hence fernandes and abe missing out. its pointlessly over saturated. why nowt was said about this whilst it was happening me no comprendo

Think their parent clubs might have something to say about that.
