stix Posted 23 November 2012 Posted 23 November 2012 Yes you will I know that ultimately, it's the same game. But the game has changed SO much!!
Foxhateram Posted 23 November 2012 Posted 23 November 2012 Can anyone find de vreis vs spurs? Remember that goal fondly, king vs man city or porter vs Chelsea. All classic cup goals. Added with cadameteri brace against Fulham that year. I can also remember being at the kp watching us vs villa and Henderson saving a brace of penalties, really great game!

I rememeber when I walked into my classroom the day after that De Vries goal and everybody shouted offside at me When did Porter score against Chelsea? Remember him setting up DJ in the 2007/08 cup game...
Basingstoke Fox Posted 24 November 2012 Posted 24 November 2012 Some great moments on here. Loved it going into school the day after the Tottenham game! My favourite moment at a City game I've been to. Was my first Leicester game: http://youtu.be/YmA0GCBJEYo My second favourite at a game I've been to is: Great days. I LOVE cup football!!
Kitchandro Posted 24 November 2012 Posted 24 November 2012 Yeh the Spurs game was great, I remember watching it on BBC (plastic I know) and it was all going as we expected. Still can't believe we turned it around, we were such a shit team, and De Vries was a donkey, great finish though. I'm sure Gary was milking it in the studio, what a legend.
purpleronnie Posted 25 November 2012 Posted 25 November 2012 That claridge goal in the final still gives me goosebumps.
fox ache Posted 26 November 2012 Posted 26 November 2012 http//www.youtube.com/watch?v=aEcPlgi2s-w O`Neil at his best....classic
davieG Posted 21 January 2013 Posted 21 January 2013 !6 Years ago tonight Mark Robins puts us in the SF of the League Cup + A very young Heskey interview. Plus a few other highlights from the 90s
Sparky Posted 22 January 2013 Posted 22 January 2013 Blackburn 0 City 1 1992. Rooster with a late winner. Last game in which City ever wore red
goose2010 Posted 22 January 2013 Posted 22 January 2013 THats what you a call a pitch!!! think our sunday pitch is better than that!
Fox4ever76 Posted 22 January 2013 Posted 22 January 2013 Does anyone have video of the 1-0 win against oxford when we survived relegation (tony james scored)
cjslcfc Posted 23 January 2013 Posted 23 January 2013 Gutted to have missed the majority of these. Best memories are of MON era when in prem and things like the Sunderland match where we had Collymore and Heskey! Nothing would be as good as actually being at a big cup final or play off final though
RonnieTodger Posted 7 September 2013 Posted 7 September 2013 Thought I'd bring this thread back. fondoogle you legend. The majority of our good games under O'Neill are on there somewhere.
Grewks Posted 7 September 2013 Posted 7 September 2013 If you watch the second leg at wimbledon video, when we score, there must be between 8 and 10 leicester fans in the palace/wimbledon end jumping up and clapping etc..and there is one guy who is going mental, jumping up and down his own row, past and in front of the wimbledon fans, a very brave man.
Soar Fox Posted 11 September 2013 Posted 11 September 2013 Watching the 1996 playoff final still gives me goosebumps now even though I must have watched it at least 50 times. I'm fortunate enough to have been at what i consider 3 of the best games in my lifetime. Derby playoff final, Palace playoff final and Forest last season.
smiggy6773 Posted 16 September 2013 Posted 16 September 2013 Great memories.....especially Steve Claridge at Wembley '96!!
smiggy6773 Posted 16 September 2013 Posted 16 September 2013 I know that ultimately, it's the same game. But the game has changed SO much!! I was at the game in Jan 1987...front row of the south stand. We should never have gone down that season!!..Alan Smith was superb
