Babylon Posted 16 April 2012 Posted 16 April 2012 I was only 1-2 at the time. Fvcking 'ell. I'm genuinely gutted for anyone who missed those years. Those players back then will be the City team I remember for the rest of my life. To only know shite life Fryatt, Maybury etc etc is truly depressing. Feeling a bit down you can just stick the O'Neill years DVD on and remember all those nights down filbo or at Wembley. Happy happy days.
Happy Fox Posted 16 April 2012 Posted 16 April 2012 It seems a distant memory I was 6 at the time so just missed that episode of the club, started supporting City when I was 8 in the MON era so those were the highlights for me

Happy happy days. I'm gutted I couldn't be there. I was at Wembley but my old man didn't get me a ticket for the replay. I was livid with the mixed excuse of it being a school night and there wasn't room in the car.

Happy happy days. True, i've watched the O'neill DVD at least half a dozen times this season. The Sunderland game 5-2, i think that team with Colly and hesk up front with guppy muzz savage and Lennon in the middle and walsh elliot at the back was the best city team in my memory, wish you could have a Fifa or pro evo new style but set in previous seasons that would be quality.

FuriousFox46 Posted 17 April 2012 Posted 17 April 2012 Has anyone seen this, pretty funny haha 12 year-olds dancing around for 15 minutes? Not my thing.
Callabinho Posted 17 April 2012 Posted 17 April 2012 The club as a whole was better back then. Obviously not financially but certainly a happier place. Plus we had a team of individuals who new their role! I've had numerous people come to me and say at uni your days were all about the Elliott's, Izzet's, Lennons and Taggart's. We also had the family night's which always helped keep the club within constant touching distance of the fans! That Leicester died with filbert street!
