Things have become far too serious in here, so time for a trivial question - do you?

And if so what do you sing?

For me it's Aerosmith - Dude (Looks Like A Lady) plus what ever song was acting as my alarm clock that morning.

I sing everywhere in the house.

I also talk to myself everywhere in the house.

I mean, full on conversations. My flatmate occasionally catches me at it and I've gotten to the point where I'm not even embarrassed or self-conscious about it.

... I'm done sharing.

All the time.

Anything that's in my head really. Unfortunately can be some pop-chart shit sometimes. I'm not proud.

Sometimes can be inspirational, something like 'I Believe I can Fly' by R Kelly. Sometimes can be emotional, such as 'I'll be Missing You' by Puff Daddy.

Mood dictates song.

With the only other person in my house being profoundly deaf I can sing what I like, when I like.

But almost never in the shower, there's not enough room (I'm very expressive with my singing.)

lol Wonder why.

Yeah I do, but I don't have any favourites, just whatever's in my head at that time. I have a terrible memory for lyrics though, so it's usually just the first verse and chorus repeated.

Nope, not me. I`v always regarded singing to oneself as a bit weird...

Making animal noises is more my cuppa tea. My goat impressions have gone down a treat at many a party...

But i do tend to dance around the house when certain songs (all genres) come on the tele, just to wind the kids up...

Never!! I used to until I got a bit OCD. It's now against the rules for me to breath in through my mouth in the bathroom. Nostrils only. And the reason for that is faeces bacteria floats in the air. I saw a documentary about the nostrils and the breathing system that showed toilet bacteria floating. F*&ked me up.

If a song ever does force itself out in the shower though, it is normally this :

Haters wanna hate, Lovers wanna love, I don't even want none of the above... :crylaugh:

Hmm. I'm very surprised ti's nor the Beatle's " Lucy In The Sky With Diamonds"!

To those ignorant of it's meaning, they are singing about LSD. So bloody sad, that song!

Actually it's about a drawing John Lennon's son did at school. He drew one of his classmates (Lucy) in the sky... with diamonds. People want to believe it's about LSD, but it isn't.

I often sing, but I do it everywhere - in my room, in the shower etc

I even sing when I have my iPod in and I am on the move. For example, if I bike it into town I'll have my iPod on, so I tend to sing out loud. All people that walk past me just give me a glare.

Its usually Beatles stuff I sing.

I only sing when inebriated and/or caked on 14 buckets of white widow, and there's not enough room for a case of strongbow, and bucket pipe in the cubicle. The cardboard and chillum get all wet.

No, Lucy In The Sky With Diamonds is not about drugs, although the video and lyrics do suggest otherwise. It was Lennon's son, Julian, that came home with a drawing of Lucy O'Donnell (classmate) and showed the picture to John, who then immediatly started writing the song.

Someone picked out the LSD bit, but it isn't true. There are other suggestions as well, because The Beatles would add them on purpose; to song lyrics and album covers.

Believe me when I tell you this. I have the book 'A Hard Days Write' which tells you about every song. Although I don't read, I have the read the book fully, so I can tell you about every song.

Some lyrics were written whilst they were on drugs though; for example the start of I Am The Walrus was written by Lennon when he was on a 'trip'.

I swear the word "Beatles" is in 99% of Fox92's posts.

lol

I am not only a massive fan, but I will read everything about them. As I stated in my previous post, I have a book which tells you what every Beatles song is about.

People I know are amazed I remember all the facts, statistics and history about the Beatles, yet I cannot remember things for my important exams, for example.

Good programme about George Harriso on BBC2 last night. Missed some of it. Think it was in two parts. Hard to believe really that they gave up touring after 1966. Typical Americans over-reacted over a mis-quoted statement by Johm Lennon

George was a well liked person though. Willing to help anyone. When the Monty Python team came up with the idea of Life of Brian, he was so kenn on it he mortgaged his house to fund it. Started up Handmade Films.

He was into a lot of things and had friends in all areas. Jackie Steart said of all the friends that had been lost in racing and non-racicing George is the one person that he misses the most.

I used to regularly commute from Leicester to Leeds and I'd commentate on my own driving for the full 2 hours. Helped pass the time I suppose.

In the shower I tend to sing Sinatra songs. Badly.

... I'm done sharing.

Are you sure you're not talking to the voices? :giggle::whistle:
