cc_star Posted 16 November 2011 Posted 16 November 2011 I think Pearson's reputation for being a miserable bastard stems from just not being media friendly, especially when the media is as inept as RL & the Merc Can't imagine he's like that every day, else he'd never get people to do things how he wants them, Sure the players see a different side to him to the one he presents to the outside world.
Nickfosse Posted 16 November 2011 Posted 16 November 2011 Tbh if I had to face Stringer's banal questioning on a regular basis, I'd have a face like a slapped arse too
Babylon Posted 16 November 2011 Posted 16 November 2011 Nigels reaction to someone reminding him he's managed to get a 700k pay rise for falling out with Lee Hoos. "See that over there, some call it the naughty step. I call it the DJ Campbell step... you might want to get used to it." "Someone call security, I was told Moreno went months ago". "you're the only winger we have, so get on the fecking wing". "I hope for your sake you don't know DJ Campbell".
cc_star Posted 16 November 2011 Posted 16 November 2011 Great pics, I see Beckford well & truly has his socks pulled up WTH are Beckford & Dyer wearing with the strap across them?
Saxondale Posted 16 November 2011 Posted 16 November 2011 "I knew he was a taskmaster, but I didn't think he'd have us doing the ruddy Riverdance"

Saxondale Posted 16 November 2011 Posted 16 November 2011 "One, two, three, four, five... How many central midfielders do we have?"
Ric Flair Posted 16 November 2011 Posted 16 November 2011 "One, two, three, four, five... How many central midfielders do we have?" " KINGY please don't tell me there's one under your hat as well "
Jonah62 Posted 16 November 2011 Posted 16 November 2011 Looks like Brunos trying a bit of stealth bumming with Nigel

Houdini Logic Posted 16 November 2011 Posted 16 November 2011 Lee Hoos? Disappeared? Can't say I know anything about that. Anyway, we've had the training ground re-laid recently, so I'd appreciate if you didn't look anywhere around this spot...
Guest ttfn Posted 16 November 2011 Posted 16 November 2011 "One, two, three, four, five... How many central midfielders do we have?" Bruno maybe taking a coaching role in that photo? Or am I looking into that too much?

Houdini Logic Posted 16 November 2011 Posted 16 November 2011 Bruno maybe taking a coaching role in that photo? Or am I looking into that too much? That's exactly what I thought, though didn't dare say. I haven't seen him doing any training/playing in any of the other images (or half the players to be fair)
mancunianfox Posted 16 November 2011 Posted 16 November 2011 Anyone else finding Pearson's grin disconcerting??
Petchy Posted 16 November 2011 Posted 16 November 2011 Bruno maybe taking a coaching role in that photo? Or am I looking into that too much? Hmm, not sure as in this one he's playing. Saying that, coaches like Chris P joined in so who knows?
Mack Posted 16 November 2011 Posted 16 November 2011 With such little time to work with the squad there is surely going to be an element of know quantities for Pearson in his team selection for this weekend. Kasper - Would be crazy to pick Weale ahead of him Peltier- Remember Gibbs under Nigel last time around? Similar player Mills- Is sure to improve under Pearson's guidance St Ledger- Can see him getting much more football under Pearson Konchesky- Reliable experienced performer Dyer- If fully fit I believe Nigel will want him to provide the pace and get delivery into the box Wellens- Surely Pearson's captain. Always dependable in the middle and gives great bite King- Flourished under Pearson the first time around. Pearson's driving force in the middle Right Midfield is the problem position for me - Could play Gallagher. I hope we dont see an out of position CM. The Pantsil at the back with Peltier Right Midfield may have some legs. Nugent- Pearson is going to love this striker. Beckford- Pearson needs to back the big summer signing and give him his chance. Who knows in 3 weeks if he will still be starting.
StanSP Posted 16 November 2011 Posted 16 November 2011 A coach doesn't always just stand back on the touchlines and observe. Most coaches do get involved and in with the play. If anything, managers stand back and observe more. I'd say that Bruno is well on the way to becoming a first-team coach with us, given that he's stayed behind the scenes most of the time this season.
