It appears that the rumours about Sven having dressing room problems were spot on. And with Pearsons style of management one can only susupect things will get worse before they get better. I think a few players who may think "they are better than they are" will be in for a reality check. I cant see pearson being the sort to put his arm on players shoulders and being too much of a shoulder to cry on!

Interesting you say that, i've read several interviews over the past few years where players have mentioned that Pearson is very affectionate with the players and motivates his players with praise and love rather than an iron fist. Pearson may have the reputation as a bruiser who doesn't take any shit but I think that's because he's a decent motivator and get's his players playing until the last kick of the game. We scored many a late goal to get draws and wins under Nigel, which has been sorely missed. I'm delighted he's back. Badly need a winger or two though and he has a central midfield conundrum, likewise at centre half. Schemichel will surely get the nod over Weale, irrespective of him being a Pearson signing.

Up the City! I think you're right about some of the players Raj. This comes back to the point of certain players wanting to play for certain managers. It's always happened and always will. Like Fryatt, Hobbs, waggy wanted to play for Pearson, so it's likely that some of Svens signings won't feel comfortable under Nige. Fernandes may well be the first one asking to leave, and their could be more. Not a problem though, Pearson will take time to reassemble his own preferred players.

I can see this, but it would have happened under Sven anyway, especially as the lure of Premiership football (which is why they're here, not totally because of Sven) started to fade Hypothetically, just for example... If Beckford doesn't find his form how long before Schlupp & Co start being disgruntled, are about 9 central midfielders going to be happy over a season especially when they do get a chance they're being asked to play wide or something. NP may have a different philosophy . Until FIFA relax the rule allowing only 11 in a team at any one time the players that signed (for big money) in the summer will be in no worse position unless NP decides he wants 3 players competing for each spot. They might just have to get on with it and fight for their place.
