MrSpaM Posted 16 November 2011 Posted 16 November 2011 Same as the sky sports one, but starts just at the moment Stringer asks his first question! Gold!
sphericalfox Posted 16 November 2011 Posted 16 November 2011 http://www.skysports.com/video/inline/0,,16428_7311846,00.html Big club? We're MASSIVE!! Pearson nears wets himself when Stringer introduces himself. I wish i could see Stringer's face when asking the question. Bet it was red as a baboon's.
Top_Fox Posted 16 November 2011 Posted 16 November 2011 Haha as if there's someone on here called uncle Phil?! Love it!!
wattolcfc Posted 16 November 2011 Posted 16 November 2011 Very professional press conference from him, as usual. Can't wait to see what he can do with this team and what gems Walsh can pick out this time round!
I am Rod Hull Posted 16 November 2011 Posted 16 November 2011 DOG is back then! Does the tiger shit in the woods ?
Ricey Posted 16 November 2011 Posted 16 November 2011 Anyone got the whole press conference anywhere?
SMX11 Posted 16 November 2011 Posted 16 November 2011 I think Nigel knows that he can make Stringer poo his pants at any moment.
Jonezy Posted 16 November 2011 Posted 16 November 2011 It feels good to have Nigel back, but man, it also does feel a bit weird. Guess it must be even more weird for Mr. Stringer though.... 'Hello Ian'
One Arm Babba Posted 16 November 2011 Posted 16 November 2011 It feels good to have Nigel back, but man, it also does feel a bit weird. Guess it must be even more weird for Mr. Stringer though....'Hello Ian' Ha ha. its a great moment. I loved the bit where he is saying " I can be quite hard to deal with at times.... as you know Ian" I am very optimistic with NP. He is saying all the right things. No honeymoon period, straight down to work and passion!
DANGEROUS TIGER Posted 16 November 2011 Posted 16 November 2011 Does the tiger shit in the woods ? I'm off tonight. To answer your question though, most certainly. Wrong time of the year though. Those fallen leaves are very crumbly. Think I might take some loo rolls.
shade Posted 16 November 2011 Posted 16 November 2011 two things from that sky clip: firstly did you see how quick pearsons fake smile for stringer disappeared? secondly, there must have been a strong breeze cos Nigel's pony tail was all over the place.
tickler28 Posted 16 November 2011 Posted 16 November 2011 Exactly right. I think the return of Shakey and even moreso Walsh are very important. So pleased they have come home. The years have not been kind to Steve Walsh....must be to many late night poker sessions with Grayson!!! :crylaugh:
promised land Posted 16 November 2011 Posted 16 November 2011 How many times did Susan Whelan say 'erm' when she spoke? Not a very professional way to do a presentation but she kept glancing at Nigel and smiling alot. Is something happening there????
absolutelegend Posted 16 November 2011 Posted 16 November 2011 Well pleased!!! Can't wait for the weekend......let's hope this kickstarts our season!
foxoffderby Posted 16 November 2011 Posted 16 November 2011 How many times did Susan Whelan say 'erm' when she spoke? Not a very professional way to do a presentation but she kept glancing at Nigel and smiling alot. Is something happening there???? Yeah Nigel was giving her the finger underneath the table in the middle of a live presentation you dunce, Whelan was nervous you could tell if you watch the whole thing she said shes done recruitment but not in the football world its a little different. Being in front of the camara is not easy.
Corky Posted 16 November 2011 Posted 16 November 2011 You could tell she was nervous. Just a shame "y'know" Birch wasn't involved.
Guest MattP Posted 16 November 2011 Posted 16 November 2011 How many times did Susan Whelan say 'erm' when she spoke? Not a very professional way to do a presentation but she kept glancing at Nigel and smiling alot. Is something happening there???? The way she said "what we wanted and that was hmmm Nigel" when introducing him with a blushing smile was very sexual, I've not seen a chief executive smiling so much since Karren Brady introduced Peschisolido or Barrie Pierpoint was allowed on the Junior Foxes scout trip. Nigel seemed to be smiling more than usual as well, in fact I've never seen him look so happy. no wonder they took twelve days wrapping the deal up, probably did a tour of the hotels in Leicester, no wonder Top looked pissed off and couldnt speak English properly.
cc_star Posted 16 November 2011 Posted 16 November 2011 Pearson needs to speak to the press to fulfil his duties, but he doesn't need to make it easy. hopefully there's a better relationship this time around for our sakes
sphericalfox Posted 16 November 2011 Posted 16 November 2011 Pearson needs to speak to the press to fulfil his duties, but he doesn't need to make it easy. hopefully there's a better relationship this time around for our sakes I hope not, I want Stringer to have his tongue so far up Pearson's hole he'll be too tired to speak when on the radio.
Legend_in_blue Posted 16 November 2011 Posted 16 November 2011 The only criticism I can put to him is his previous style of predictable football. Yes it was effective, it was organised, it got us results, but that cutting edge against the top sides wasn't there. If NP can drop the predictability of his style of play, I think we can make a further step forward. He has the squad to do this so if he can sort out the lack of decent wide men in January, he'll see us promoted imo. Looking forward to Sunday...
Narborough_fox Posted 16 November 2011 Posted 16 November 2011 I'm glad he's back just so I could have a new signature
Happy Fox Posted 16 November 2011 Posted 16 November 2011 The man oozes class, a very motivated individual who will get this team organized, NP has my full backing and I am sure all the fans backing we are right behind you mate lead us to glory
