City Fan Posted 28 June 2005 Posted 28 June 2005 Post from MadBiker on TB: "This thread will receive no more posts from me, nor do I require any PMs but just to give you all something to think about, and talk about, there will be, if all goes to plan, 4 more signings this summer, as I`ve said before NOTHING is certain in football, apart from Mark Deep freeze being crap, but things look good as we speak !"
City Fan Posted 28 June 2005 Author Posted 28 June 2005 Does he know who they may be? 128977 Yeah he will probably know. What are the odds of them all coming from the SPL?
We need another Taggart Posted 28 June 2005 Posted 28 June 2005 i'm fairly new to this forum, anyone tell me who this guy is? and how he has such info? Excellent news tho!
shen Posted 28 June 2005 Posted 28 June 2005 Does he know who they may be? 128977 Yeah he will probably know. What are the odds of them all coming from the SPL? 128983 well he might not know all 4 of them, but now we know that CL probably has a plan to bring in 4 more people. Can't imagine we've targeted all 4 yet though...
City Fan Posted 28 June 2005 Author Posted 28 June 2005 i'm fairly new to this forum, anyone tell me who this guy is? and how he has such info?Excellent news tho! 128986 He is a poster from another board we all migrated from. I dont think anyone knows his source of info, but he is always right. He knew about us releasing players like Keown etc ages before the OS told us, and knew about the Inter Milan friendly ages before as well.
Nationwider Posted 28 June 2005 Posted 28 June 2005 It's not exactly revelation of the century, as the Trust and CL himself have already indicated what is needed, and in what quantities. Nevertheless, he's a good source of info so it's good to hear there are still irons in the fire as we speak. I'll be amazed if we don't have Kenton or Laursen before the end of next week.
Gené and Tonic Posted 28 June 2005 Posted 28 June 2005 Kenton, Laursen, Robertson? and a striker most probably from the SPL
Shum Posted 28 June 2005 Posted 28 June 2005 I used to work in the media and speaking to my old mates down there, CL is after at least one striker and two defenders, possibly 2 strikers.
C-man Posted 28 June 2005 Posted 28 June 2005 Im hoping the guy is right about it looking good and he isnt talking bollocks like the forum name suggests...

Collymore Posted 28 June 2005 Posted 28 June 2005 Kenton and that keeper must be two of them. Could see the other two being strikers, maybe 1 to nurture and one to chuck in the deep end.
SilverFox Posted 28 June 2005 Posted 28 June 2005 I don't think henderson will count as one of the four! It will be four additional signings.
Steven Posted 28 June 2005 Posted 28 June 2005 I don't think henderson will count as one of the four!It will be four additional signings. 129103 ... and what happens when we sell Gudjonsson, Williams, Heath, Wright and Canero. Where will we reinvest the money.
We need another Taggart Posted 28 June 2005 Posted 28 June 2005 excellent - four more 'quality' signings (as levein promised) would give us a massive boost! considering a dabble on the long odds the bookies have gave us for a top finish!
Scow Posted 28 June 2005 Posted 28 June 2005 It certainly is encouraging news. I know we shouldn't read too much in to squad numbers, but with Stewart given 23, maybe that indicates that Levein is on the look out for a left back as well? Someone like Laursen or Nils-Eric Johansson would make sense given that both can play at centreback and leftback.
Scow Posted 28 June 2005 Posted 28 June 2005 Stewart was no. 11... thats a strikers number 129231 It's a wingers number.
LoneWolf Posted 28 June 2005 Posted 28 June 2005 Stewart was no. 11... thats a strikers number 129231 It's a wingers number. 129240 well, strikers in beaumont town n e ways ... who has 11 at united? is it ronaldo?? .. i dont really think numbers r 'set postion' numbers i had number 4 at beaumont and i played either right mid or center mid.. mainly right mid... and thats a center back number.. isnt it?? or defensive midfeilder?
Ric Flair Posted 29 June 2005 Posted 29 June 2005 Kris Boyd or Daryll Duffy (with Canero going the other way), Darren Kenton, Ulrik Laursen and Scott Robertson
