tickler28 Posted 29 November 2011 Posted 29 November 2011 So great to see Dyer looking like Dyer again and having a great game.....loved him and Danns terrorising at pace....take note Mr Beckford....superb just superb!!! Leicester till i die
jonthefox Posted 29 November 2011 Posted 29 November 2011 Has he beefed up or just wearing a smaller shirt?.
DorsetFox9 Posted 29 November 2011 Posted 29 November 2011 you cant possibly say beckford played bad, he wasnt lazy, made some great runs, unlucky not to score, great link up play. im sure people just want him to fail.
Chazwaz Posted 29 November 2011 Posted 29 November 2011 Has he beefed up or just wearing a smaller shirt?. I thought that! He looked huuuuge!
Ric Flair Posted 29 November 2011 Posted 29 November 2011 I've been made to look a right mug today, Dyer was sensational. Fair play Lloyd. Beckford had his best game for us today, two excellent snap shots that their goalie pulled off Schmeichel-esque saves. His movement was a lot better, he's getting there. Konchesky was unbeatable as well and got forward so well. Our non-stop pressing game was a joy to watch. We have lift off.
Jace Posted 29 November 2011 Posted 29 November 2011 Dyers always been quite strong read somewhere before he benches 140kg
jprs1976 Posted 29 November 2011 Posted 29 November 2011 I thought Leicester played the perfect Blackpool style of football. I thought Dyer,Beckford and Danns (when he came on) was awesome. and a great effort for Andy King to show great resolve from losing his international manager , great character well done Kingy
Finnegan Posted 29 November 2011 Posted 29 November 2011 What struck me about both Beckford and Dyer today was that both looked, for the first time this season, to be fairly confident.
Saxondale Posted 29 November 2011 Posted 29 November 2011 Has he beefed up or just wearing a smaller shirt?. I was wondering this! Brings back memories of...
acooling08 Posted 29 November 2011 Posted 29 November 2011 For me Dyer isn't good enough if we want to be challenging for promotion. Sure, he was good today but too often he is uninvolved with play and has a poor final cross/shot. Fair play to him though, good effort and attitude after being left out for so long.

I tend to be in agreement here but for now he's shown he has a part to play. Consistency is his biggest problem, the cold weather usually makes him disappear but not tonight. Until January at least he could be very important, I admit to writing him off before tonight.
FoxesFan123 Posted 29 November 2011 Posted 29 November 2011 Can you believe this was the guy on the VERGE of completing a move to league 1 Sheff Weds only a matter of weeks ago!?! Thank god he rejected because he wanted to stay at 'his club'

I thought your usual subject of ridicule, wellens, was off form today.

Jace Posted 29 November 2011 Posted 29 November 2011 Hard to see why any player could turn down Sheff Weds right now with Milan and Megson at the realm
Ric Flair Posted 29 November 2011 Posted 29 November 2011 Yes you have.. But then again so have I.. Beckford looked much improved. I thought your usual subject of ridicule, wellens, was off form today. Haha and funnily enough I thought Wellens looked steady, but the stream made it hard to differentiate what was being done by who in the middle of the park. Wellens under Pearson is always more efficient anyway as he's not instructed to play the playmaker role, the emphasis is to get the ball out wide or forward quickly. Under Sven in a 3 or 4 man diamond, he was given a Pirlo costume and asked to spray it about left, right and centre.

Father Ted Posted 29 November 2011 Posted 29 November 2011 Where are the 'Dyer isnt good enough' and the Sven lovers gone now? A massive two fingers to those people.
Ross 'LCFC' Turner Posted 29 November 2011 Posted 29 November 2011 Fair play to Dyer got himself 2 assists but i thought he wasnt great today. Particularly in the first half i thought he kept drifting far to central and was getting out muscled far to easily. I rate Dyer as a player but his main issue is his decision making and same as Portsmouth his final ball was poor. Always a danger with his pace though, so bring on Hull.
Kitchandro Posted 29 November 2011 Posted 29 November 2011 Where are the 'Dyer isnt good enough' and the Sven lovers gone now? A massive two fingers to those people. He was good tonight and if he played like this on a regular basis he might be good enough. He doesn't though. I still think he could beat his man more often, but no doubt, he was good tonight.
Jace Posted 29 November 2011 Posted 29 November 2011 Where are the 'Dyer isnt good enough' and the Sven lovers gone now? A massive two fingers to those people. If Dyer was at another promotion chasing Championship team the haters would say lets sign him
