norfolkfox222 Posted 30 November 2011 Posted 30 November 2011 After a fairly good November, what a great chance we have to push on looking at the 5 games we have in December. I honestly cant see why we cant win all 5 games looking at them but everyone knows its never that easy and we never make things easy for ourselves. Here are my realistic predictions.... Hull City (a) Draw, Nigel going back they are going to want to turn us over, wouldnt be surprised if we lose now we have reached the play offs. Peterborough (h) Win, Surely? Doncaster (a) Win, In bottom 3 got to be winning these games if we want to catch West Ham and Southampton? Ipswich (h) Win, in no sort of form but a lot can happen by then and for some reason i cant ever remember us doing well on boxing day? Portsmouth (h) Win, again if we want to stay top 6 another game we have to be winning. Come on boys what a great chance we have to make ground on teams above us!!!! :scarf:
Simmo86 Posted 30 November 2011 Posted 30 November 2011 These threads made us look a bit silly last year. Everybody predicting 12 from 15 etc etc and us ending up with 4! Lets take it one game at a time eh?
Libertine Dream Posted 30 November 2011 Posted 30 November 2011 I can see us drawing with hull, maybe even losing late on. Posh and Donny I'd expect wins. Ipswich are so inconsistent and if the good Ipswich turn up, I'll take a draw. Pompey ate in all sorts of bother and again another unprdledictable game but we'll likely still win.

AyewJoking Posted 30 November 2011 Posted 30 November 2011 15 points! OK I'll be realistic and say 14.

The Quick Brown Fox Posted 30 November 2011 Posted 30 November 2011 I'd be happy with ten. Just keep picking up a average of atleast two points a game and we'll still be up there at the end of the season
Fox92 Posted 30 November 2011 Posted 30 November 2011 I think we can go unbeaten. Honestly, I think we can beat the teams we are set to play in December. Hull City, away - 1 point Peterborough United, home - 3 points Doncaster Rovers, away - 1 point Ipswich Town, home - 3 points Portsmouth, home - 3 points Total for December: 11 points

Hull City, away - 1 point Peterborough United, home - 3 points Doncaster Rovers, away - 1 point Ipswich Town, home - 3 points Portsmouth, home - 3 points Total for December: 11 points Pretty much spot on as I can see us being more defensive away, however I personally think we can nick a win at Donny (I hope we do anyway because I'm going )
Fox92 Posted 30 November 2011 Posted 30 November 2011 however I personally think we can nick a win at Donny (I hope we do anyway because I'm going ) I do hope, and do think, we can win at Doncaster. I just put a point because it is one of the more local clubs for me (I have several friends that support Doncaster), so I don't like to jinx myself and Leicester's performance
Guest Col city fan Posted 30 November 2011 Posted 30 November 2011 One game at a time boys.... I can just hear Nige saying that to his players And he's correct...
Dan Posted 30 November 2011 Posted 30 November 2011 Hull - Got to go for all 3, Pearson is a tactician, he'll know exactly how to play these. A point wouldn't be awful but if Burnley can turn around a 2-0 here and win, imagine what Pearson can do. Peterborough - 3 points needed. Not a bad little side but we really need to beat sides like this. Doncaster - 3 points again, whilst they're on the up I feel, they're still joint bottom. Ipswich - 3 points, yet again. They're in horrendous form. Portsmouth - 3 points, once again. Another sort of game we'll need to win. Which really... 5 wins out of 5? It's a big ask and it very rarely happens in this league, but I think ultimately we've got to go for it, we need at least 12 points this month for me.
Happy Fox Posted 30 November 2011 Posted 30 November 2011 Hull- 0 Points Peterborough- 3 points Donny- 1 point Ipswich- 3 points Portsmouth- 3 points
LCFC_FAN_1995 Posted 30 November 2011 Posted 30 November 2011 Hull City, away - 1 point Peterborough United, home - 3 points Doncaster Rovers, away - 3 points Ipswich Town, home - 3 points Portsmouth, home - 3 points Total for December: 13 points

Lets take it one game at a time eh? What he said. Everyone can beat everyone in the championship this year. I'm just happy that we are playing well at the moment, I am not going to make any assumptions.
Marmite Posted 30 November 2011 Posted 30 November 2011 To be honest I can see us winning all the games. If we beat Hull on Saturday confidence will be sky high.
Heart-Shaped Fox Posted 30 November 2011 Posted 30 November 2011 Hull City, away - 3 points Peterborough United, home - 3 points Doncaster Rovers, away - 3 points Ipswich Town, home - 3 points Portsmouth, home - 3 points Total for December: 15 points Very winnable games
Guest Electric Yetis Posted 30 November 2011 Posted 30 November 2011 15 points! OK I'll be realistic and say 14. Can you explain how we'll get 14 points from 5 games?
Happy Fox Posted 30 November 2011 Posted 30 November 2011 Can you explain how we'll get 14 points from 5 games? When Pompey go bust?
James18 Posted 30 November 2011 Posted 30 November 2011 Anything less than 10 I consider a failure. We really could win, and as promotion contenders should win every game in December, but we all know that's not got going to happen.
Jace Posted 30 November 2011 Posted 30 November 2011 Every game in this league is a potential 3 points
Fifties Blue Posted 30 November 2011 Posted 30 November 2011 My table for 31/12/2011 using BBC predictor, but I won't be visiting BET365 any time soon!
leicesterisme Posted 30 November 2011 Posted 30 November 2011 Hull City, away - 1 point Peterborough United, home - 3 points Doncaster Rovers, away - 1 point Ipswich Town, home - 3 points Portsmouth, home - 1 point Total for December: 9 points
city1993 Posted 30 November 2011 Posted 30 November 2011 I'm sure we must be looking at somewhere between 12-15 points. On paper, December looks must better for us than October or November did, and Nigel seems to have us playing with a bit more confidence. We shouldn't get ahead of ourselves though, teams with games in hand could knock down to 10th I think, so the aim of December would be to get enough points to be in a play-off position come the turn of the year? Then stay there.
