Jace Posted 19 December 2011 Posted 19 December 2011 Not the best of first posts! But welcome all the same! To be fair he has just solved our right wing problem, shame we now missing a leading scorer up front
Finchy Posted 19 December 2011 Posted 19 December 2011 Anyone who says drop Konchesky, automatically your opinion counts for nothing. Just behind Schmeichel for our best player so far.
LCFC FOX Posted 19 December 2011 Posted 19 December 2011 Drop all of the midfield. Play 4-3-3 or 4-4-2 with Kasper Peltier Bamba Tunchev Koncheskey Schlupp Fernandes Abe Danns Nugent Beckford or Kasper Peltier Bamba Tunchev Koncheskey Fernandes Abe Danns Schlupp Nugent Beckford
dannythefox Posted 19 December 2011 Posted 19 December 2011 Kasper pantsil tunch Bamba Konch Danns Moussa King Schulpp Beckford Nugent
deep blue Posted 19 December 2011 Posted 19 December 2011 Only in one friendly under Sven in the summer... think he was promising & matchday isn't the place to try it... But desperate times call for desperate measures & breaking from the back with pace is the modern way Think we desperately need some pace there though & with a '3' behind him he just needs to tackle back & make a nuisance of himself rather than have absolute defensive positional awareness like he would as a LB in a back 4 "matchday isn't the place to try it". I disagree. I think matchday is the ultimate place to experiment, cos no amount of training will replicate the matchday experience. Given our recent performances where we're treading water and dropping points like mad, I don't see what we have to lose by trying out different things and being better able to assess players' capabilities in a real match situation. I can't see that Pearson has learnt much from the last few games because he hasn't tried anything different. Still confident in Pearson though (he's just naturally cautious), and hope he'll turn things round soon.
Danny the Fox 95 Posted 19 December 2011 Posted 19 December 2011 Kasper Pelts Tunchev Bamba Konchesky Danns Abe Fernandes Schlupp Nugent Beckford Subs- Anyone but Weale! St Ledger Pantsil Moussa Howard
MikeyT Posted 19 December 2011 Posted 19 December 2011 Kasper pantsil tunch Bamba Konch Danns Moussa King Schulpp Beckford Nugent No Peltier?
brockmyster Posted 19 December 2011 Posted 19 December 2011 Kasper Pelts (wb) Bamba Mills Tunchev Konchesky (wb) Abe Fernandes King Nugent Beckford Schlupp Were lacking big time in midfield areas, yet we have options at the back, why not utilise them!! I know we're not exactly playing well but i dont think we could quite get away with 12 men
Bettsj2 Posted 19 December 2011 Posted 19 December 2011 Kasper Pelts Mills Tunchev Koncheskeh Schlupp Bamba Fernandes Dyer Nugent Beckford
Bob Weasel Fox Posted 19 December 2011 Posted 19 December 2011 Who to drop? Where to start? i hate to say it as im a Wellens fan but he needs dropping at the moment, possibly King and Dyer also and Bamba at the back?
dannythefox Posted 19 December 2011 Posted 19 December 2011 No Peltier? No good solid player but holds the ball up for me to much when he has chance after chance to get forward!
wellyfox Posted 19 December 2011 Posted 19 December 2011 As much as I rate Fernendes not so Johnson. I thought they were on loan till jan and yes had we been playing them continue. But we have'nt so with a couple of games to go what is the point. I see the point in dropping wellens but I would give Danns time. We need a stable side keeper no probs back 4 ok front 2 need service but a new fwd would not go a miss. Midfield's the joke no with or spine in it or width really. Fernandes as he is off soon is no answer King Danns Gally n Dyer for now. We all know the wide men are not good enough but all we have ATM. Then look at a CM to play with king and or Danns.
Adster Posted 20 December 2011 Posted 20 December 2011 No good solid player but holds the ball up for me to much when he has chance after chance to get forward! But you'd rather play John 'gets sat on his arse by wingers' Pantsil?
MikeyT Posted 20 December 2011 Posted 20 December 2011 No good solid player but holds the ball up for me to much when he has chance after chance to get forward! Arguably our best signing along with Kasper. He would be in my starting 11 every game if fit.

Frank_mckenzie Posted 20 December 2011 Posted 20 December 2011 Drop the midfield an try danns, Fernandes, Johnson and abe, they can't be any worse, it ain't possible
Blueforever Posted 20 December 2011 Posted 20 December 2011 Schmeichel Peltier Mills Bamba Konchesky Danns Fernandes Abe Dyer Nugent Beckford This is the team I'd have don't mess with the defence get the midfield sorted. Abe holding midfielder bit like (savage) Fernades or Johnson the playmaker (Lenons position) Danns or King attacking midfielder (Muzzy's old position) Dyer to give the width and crosses (guess who?) simples!

cc_star Posted 21 December 2011 Posted 21 December 2011 I don't know if this has been said, and that there's a name or two who appears quite frequently But the reserve goalie needs dropping from the bench, we need options that just can't be provided by 4 players... 3 players realistically as they'll always be a CB/FB on the bench
Swalker Posted 21 December 2011 Posted 21 December 2011 Team who started against Donnny: Kasper Peltier Bamba SSL Kon Gally Wellens King Dyer Nugent Howard Team to start Ipswich: Kasper Peltier Tunch Bamba Kon Abe Fernandes Moussa (something to prove and isn't scared of going forward) Nugent Howard/ Schlupp Beckford
bettso Posted 21 December 2011 Posted 21 December 2011 There's no way in heaven or ****ing hell that Frankie Moussa will start against Ipswich.
Hirsty The Blue 94 Posted 21 December 2011 Posted 21 December 2011 Kasper Pelts (wb) Bamba Mills Tunchev Konchesky (wb) Abe Fernandes King Nugent Beckford Schlupp Were lacking big time in midfield areas, yet we have options at the back, why not utilise them!! Good thinking, playing 12 players will give us an advantage
Number 6 Posted 21 December 2011 Posted 21 December 2011 Don't understand why a fair few seem to have Mills and Tunch as the CB pairing. St Ledger and Bamba have been much better than Mills throughout the season thus far. Can't really comment on Tunch as he hasn't been playing.
