Konchesky - 8 - I love this guy. Mr reliable defensively and he just runs and runs down the wing. Almost set Nuge up for a goal too. Mills - 6 - Solid, was he at fault for their goal? Bamba - 7 - passion. Peltier - 6 - Ok defensively but not offering anything down the wing like he was earlier in the season. Abe - 8 - Good passing, some vital interceptions. Worked hard and definitely deserves to retain his place. Wellens - 6 - Again, he was below par. Too slow on the ball. But in the Second half it got scrappy and he improved. Gallagher - 7 - Some great deliveries, came close a few times. At least he has the balls to have a shot. Dyer - 5 - Did he have a meaningfull touch? Replace him in Jan please. Nugent - 6 - A lot of effort with little end product. Beckford - 2 - He is terrible. He has terrible control, doesn't jump or win a header, can't make a tackle, can't run at defenders without losing the ball. His 1 shot hit the corner flag. +1 for a run early on that should have got the defender sent off. Nigel - 5 - At least he put Abe in. But Fernandes NEEDS to replace Wellens. Also he needed to make his substitutions much earlier. What is Schlupp supposed to do coming on in the 87th minute?

Mills 7 - dominant, nice to see him back. Konchesky 8 - man of the match, our ONLY outlet and attacking hope all match Dyer 5 - hopeless Abe 6.5 - very tidy and effective Wellens 4 - slow, wastes time, can't play with King or Abe as the middle two. He's not creative and doesn't tackle so he's not really got a use in the middle. Gallagher 6.5 - Tried to make things happen and had a solid game. Disappointing couple of free kicks though. Nugent 6.5 - huffed and puffed but not much help. Beckford 3 - dogshit, touch of a rapist, uninterested. King - N/A anonymous Schlupp and Howard - N/A not enough time.

kingfox Posted 26 December 2011 Posted 26 December 2011 Schmeichel 7 - Very good penalty save, but had nothing to do apart from that Peltier 8 - I thought he was absolutely fantastic, our most consistent player this season in my view Bamba 6 - Apart from those two incredible runs, some long balls which came to him he struggled to deal with Mills 6 - His defending from crosses was shocking, and his hoof ball pisses me off, but he made some very important blocks Konchesky 7 - Decent all over the park, crossing was better today, another decent performance Gallagher 5 - Hopeless, plays like a fairy but does get his goals so we have to be grateful to him for that Abe 8 - Read the game superbly, put his head into everything and teached Wellens how to look forward Wellens 4 - He is getting worse and worse, one of the best midfielders in the league say pundits, he is negative and shit! Dyer 4 - Did absolutely nothing, no offence to him but we need younger wingers than him now Beckford 5 - Running with the ball from the wing I thought he was quite affective, but he doesn't jump and sometimes just stand there Nugent 5 - Worst game for us to date, seemed frustrated and seemed to go into tackles a bit rash. Subs King 3 - Had 45 minutes and did nothing, we actually might need to cash in because his performances have been ridiculously poor Schlupp - N/A Howard - N/A

Get players that come from lower league that have the desire to take the club forward Been told were interested in Fleetwood Town Winger/Striker Jamie Vardy ???

Pretty solid, not much attacking wise today though Bamba - 7. Some crazy runs, some good tackles and headers. One great through ball to Koncheskey. A bit too much in his own third though. Mills- 7. I thought he looked pretty solid as well. Did several good headers and blocks, distribution was ok but not too bad. Koncheskey - 9 MOTM. Very solid at the back, great runs and passes down the wing, a couple of great crosses, unlucky not to assist a goal from Nuge. Dyer - 5. Very quiet and didnt do a lot. Cant really say what he did well or not because he wasn't really in the game. Abe - 8. Very good, finally someone who can win stuff in the middle! Tidy passing most of the time and helped us to stay in the game. Wellens - 6.5 I thought he did ok. Offloaded to Koncheskey well lots of times, needs to win more in the middle and shoot once in a while! Gallagher - 6.5. Well taken penalty. Decent corners. Did quite a few nice crosses. Had 3 close range free kicks and they all missed though. Nugent - 6. Thought he was quiet. Could have maybe converted Koncheskeys cross? Didnt look like a goal threat. Beckford - 5. Controlled the ball well from some long balls, a few neat passes. Didnt move to the ball and therefore lost possession quite often. Didnt really have a shot, didnt look like a threat. King - 6.5. Thought he changed the game a little bit, gave us an outlet and passes it on well. Didnt make many chances though/ Howard - 8. Came on and created several chances in the little time that he had. Schlupp - 7. Caused havoc from the flicks ons, won a free kick at the end and did well considering he had 5 minutes game time. Team performance - 6.5. We played poorly for the first 10 minutes. Ok for the next 35. 2nd half we played much better without really creating much. Not as bad as some people are saying but not what we are capable of.

Why else would Bamba leave it when he was about to clear it? Pelts 5 - not at his best, but battled on regardless. Konch 6 - gave away the penalty but didn't let it affect an otherwise solid performance. Mills 7 - Solid, not much got by him. Bamba 6 - Should've cleared leading up to their goal but poor communication stopped that. Dyer 4 - Crap Gallagher 6 - Decent game today, most of our danger came from him. Wellens 6 - Huffed and puffed. Won the penalty, but needs a rest. Abe 8 - Our standout player. Nugent 4 - his worst game for us. Beckford 7 - apart from one poor touch early in I thought he did well today. Made space, fed balls into people, decent movement. King 3 - What was he for? Howard and Schlupp not on long enough. What have Danns and Fernandes got to do to get a game?

He was at fault for the goal (along with others) and really didn't impress me with his overall defended. Ok he does his marauding runs but that isn't what I want him to do, I want him to get his head onto that ball leading up to the Ipswich goal.

Did okay, but didn't offer much attacking wise (bar one great cross) and had a 50 pence head. Bamba - 6 - Did alright. Maybe at fault for goal, if he heard Kasper call then understandable that he left it. Some good runs. Mills - 6.5 - Very good in the air, some crucial blocks. Much happier with him at the back than SSL. Konchesky - 7 - Had a good game. Solid defensively and was constantly a threat going forward, which is very impressive as he got no help from Dyer/Beckford etc. Gallagher - 7 - Good game, definitely one of the better players. Some brilliant crosses in which Nugent and Beckford weren't alert too, buried his penalty as usual and was reliable on corners. Abe - 6 - Solid if unspectacular. He did okay, shielded the defence well but offers nothing going forward. Would prefer to see Fernandes play. Wellens - 5 - Average at best. Anonymous in first half, okay in second. His form has been poor for weeks but doesn't deserve the abuse he gets. Dyer - 4 - Completely anonymous when on, offered nothing. Wouldn't be near the first team if we had another winger. Nugent - 6 - Worked hard as usual, but didn't really get into the game. Needs a better partner. Beckford - 3 - Just rubbish. No effort, never challenged in the air and a shocking first touch. Need a target man! Subs King - 5 - Anonymous. Nothing else to say. Howard - NA - Won a couple of headers but no time to make a real impact. Schlupp - NA - No time, would've preferred him to come on around the hour mark for Beckford. Can't do any worse.

Mack Posted 26 December 2011 Posted 26 December 2011 I noticed a lot of people are marking Abe highly. Did you miss the fact it was him that gave the ball away for both the penalty and their goal? He tackled well today but his passing was absolutely terrible.
