Almost downloaded the 4.2GB facepack. Took an absolute age.

Won the Championship title with 90 pts and 112 goals, although only just as I lost my last 3 games!

Beckford scored 29 and Nugent bagged 21, bamba won fans player of the season!

Signed Kebe from reading in jan, had shola Ameobi on loan as cover up top, and had to bring Ryan Taylor in on loan from newcasle as Pantsill did his leg in!

just about to start pre season now to prepere for the prem, 20million budget to aviod relegation,

I have signed so far Darron Gibson on a free, David Bentley 2.6mill and Carlos Fierro , Have shipped out half of my unhappy mids on loan or flogged them

What rep do you have (as a manager)? Professional, World Class? Wouldn't come to me unless I offered astronomical wages, and even then... Also, do you mean Jonas Kamper? And Modise is great, his versatility is priceless and with his passing and dribbling he's excellent in the attacking midfield positions.

My rep as manager is the one above Sunday League (can't remember what it's called) I managed to get Bueno on about £15k p\w, it's a bit much but I'll cope as he's banging them in for me. Oh, and yes I do mean Jonas Kamper not Johan (don't know where that came from!) although his mentals are a little weak, he's been great for me at £250k. And Modise has gone to ACON so I'm missing him a little along with Paintsil

I think one of the useful things about the game is the situation with agents. When they tout a player to you, you can also look at the other players that agent is managing. That can help you narrow the search for a player down.

On the player search screen, where you can ''filter out unrealistic targets'' i dont find this particularly useful. Clubs generally seem happy to accept a structured deal over 3 years which seems reasonable because i look good for promotion so far.....so paying say £1.5 mil over 3 years for someone like Tshabalala who is offered around at the start of the game seems a snip. You have to compete with lower end prem clubs but i seem to be able to attract players relatively easily

I always thought the unrealistic target thing was to do with the player actually wanting to join you?

Just need to extract the folder in to the "skins" folder of your Football Manager 2012 in your My Documents. If you don't have a skins folder you can just make one and the game will read it.

You should definitely make a few facepacks, I might get a few more up myself. I really want to try and stir the pot a bit on there.

I will but be patient, I'm pretty sick at the moment and I'm back at work so if it's not up in the next day or two chill. In the mean time, I'd highly recommend this guide to anyone who isn't intimidated by a fairly long article.

It explains a lot that's really helpful for people when learning to set up training.

Knocked out of the Europa League in the 4th qualifying round to Young Boys. Andersen and Bertalocci both our for 5 months and a month respectively.

Lost the 1st leg of the match vs YB 2-1 at home, 3-1 down away bring it back to 3-3 and get a clear penalty denied, fuming. Next game vs Arsenal Heskey bags a goal to grab me a 1-1 draw. Oh Emile

I still maintain it doesn't actually mean a whole hell of a lot in regards to producing wonderkids or anything. Your staff are the most important.

You can maintain what you want, you aren't correct.

Your staff are very important, yes, but you use the default schedules (or rubbish schedules) and you won't see anywhere near the development that you otherwise could.

It isn't worth shitting bricks over and it isn't game-breaking if you don't completely maximize your schedules but you should pay attention to it, in my opinion, especially if you want to develop youth.

Anyone got an hot tips on signings for the new season? Could do with a MR and ML desperately but all suggestions welcome.

Also - am trying a 4-1-3-2 formation at the moment with the following team...

GK - Schmeichel

DL - Konchesky

DC - Mills

DC - Tunchev/Bamba

DR - Pantsil

DMC - Fernandes

ML - Dyer

MC - Danns

MR - Abe

ST - Nugent

Have only played a couple of friendlies at the moment including a 5-1 loss to Spurs

With regards to your left/right sided problems:

On the left:

Branko Boskovic (400k from DC United and an absolute GOD for me. Long range specialist),

Dacian Varga (cost me about 1 million, but didnt actually join until January),

On the right:

Sisi (I think cost me 500k or something from Valladolid if I remember correctly)

Benji de Ceulaer (around 1 million from Lokeren)

I signed all 4 and Boskovic and De Ceulaer were the stand out pair. Hope that helps

I got him for thesame price, first season, bagged 34 goals if i remember correctly and picked up 17 assists aswell, thats right 17 ASSISTS!

Yet Nugent still beat him to player of the year award haha

Just signed the former Inter Milan defender Nelson Rivas on £300 a week. Maybe the best signing I've ever made.

Finished Prem season 2 in 5th, a point above 5th placed Spurs, level on points with 4th placed Liverpool and 2 behind 3rd placed Arsenal. Pretty pleased.

Set new Uefa Cup consecutive clean sheets (8), goals scored (59) and games without losing records (20) before getting raped 4-0 at home by Liverpool in the semi. Return leg was probably the most ridiculous game of FM I've ever played and finished 6-5 to me.

Big clubs starting to take notice of some of my gems. Bartra being chased by At. Madrid & Valencia among others, Arsenal & Chelsea chasing the striker I signed for £150k (worth £2.5m after 1 season), AC Milan after a LB I signed for £775k this season with Arsenal & Barcelona continuing to scout Yaisien.

Verratti: Can see why most were raving about him, guy always seems to be improving his stats and is pretty good despite only joining my game at the beginning of the season (7.27 average over 42 games).

Guerra: Mr. Reliable. Consistenly rated over 7 during his 50 games, still only 19 and still rocking a 4.5* potential according to Tosh Farrell. Happy days.

Mokotjo: Started like shit, got sent off after 6 games, then injured on his return. Played out of position at RB for most of the season and still averaged over 7 all told. Pleasing.

Adam Johnson is an absolute hero played as an Inside Forward at AML or AMR - particularly pre-injury after Christmas. Averaged 7.55 in 26 league games, and 7.60 from 36 total. Laughing at £2.3m and £24k p/w. Serious beast.

Beckford is fooking amazing for me! Only 6 games in but he has bagged 9 goals and has an average rating of 8.8! Having him playing alongside Nugent in a poacher role and he is sh*t hot!

Didnt need to make many signings and the ones i did seem to have been made of glass and have all been injured along with 4 other first teamers!

Also, selling players seems to be nigh-on fvcking impossible. Only been able to ship players out on loan this season. Offered Nugent and Danns to clubs for £0 and clubs genuinely complained about the asking price. What the frick? Thankfully they're both out of contract in July, along with Vassell. Beautiful £50k removal from the wage-bill.
