Be patient young one, Darwin Quintero will find YOU, when the time is right........Joking aside, you might have to change the database size to large, or when starting the game and selecting which leagues are active, make sure the Mexican league is active, as he plays for Santos Laguna (If I remember correctly). As for a target man...dont use one. Play Quintero up front with Nugent, with Quintero as an attacking poacher and you will cream your pants

Beckford is easily the option you want up front, I play him as a deep lying forward with two 'inside forwards' on the upper wings with an attacking team mentality. Destroys the Championship. Anyway, Nugent's in the reserves now and nobody wants him cos he's somehow managed to swindle 25k a week off us. Gioda - 180k Andile Jali - 800k Jay Spearing - 900k Lomana LuaLua - Free Maleki - 1.4M Super signings. Doing the biz in the Premier League big style now.

Could have had him in Champ but he wouldn't come, 2.4mil when I got promoted. Rarely gets injured, been top assist scorer in PL 3 of his 4 seasons, scores around 15 a season in the league. Turned down a 29million offer from Liverpool and he's still only 26. Instrumental in me winning the PL and FA Cup two season in a row and League Cup, two seasons previous. Best player on the game As for my team Courtois 15 year old CB, Vidic/Kalas Zapata Albornoz Tiote/Rowlett Castle Mkhitaryan Sigurdsson Eriksen Rossi Castle and Rowlett although regens are the future of my England team
Dan Posted 14 December 2011 Posted 14 December 2011 To be fair I can sympathise with Fox92, taking 3 years to get out the Champ is poor but you don't need absolute stars to be good at the game, if you just signed the same wonderkids every time it'd be boring as fvck IMO. I've never understood a lot of you lot on this game, how the fvck does any of you manage to sign players like Abel Hernandez in your first year up? Unbelievable. I generally make a couple of big signings and then squad players simply to build a team. Always been my way.

He got sent off in the europa league and cost me the game, which i fined him a weeks wages. Always the case when its a stupid tackle in middle of the park. Tried to clear the air with sol but he was having none of it, so i had the last laugh and offered him out for twice his value. Dont know how many of you know about Xulu (something like that) you can get him at start of game for 250k. Im 4th season Wolves have just paid 15m for him. Gutted i didnt go back in for him when i got promoted. After sturridge finished 3rd season with 29 goals in 36 games. He has been quite poor in the 1st 10 games of the new season. Fierro is starting to outshine him. Quintero is playing for Ipswich and i am regretting selling them Lewandowski. I brought him for 750k and he was getting upset at not playing due to Sturridges form and my 1 up front formation. Sold him for 2m for a quick profit and those two rip me apart. I have just raided the brazil league for all the decent youth players who are out of contract and have no comp fees or good enough to justify the comp. Signed Fabian (19 year in 4th season old rb from brazil) has potential to be quality think hes a regen though. Currently sitting 10th in season 4, 10 games in and i just cant get the front lads firing like last season. hopefully with elia coming in Jan it'll start to click again

Eeeeeeeveryone else seems to say this, but whenever I played Beckford, he was gash, and Nugent always did the biz, in terms of goals and assists up top with Quintero. Best player on the game I missed out on him to Sunderland, where he has been an absolute monster. Top scorer in the Prem at christmas, and almost top assists from attacking mid. Though cant grumble too much, Jack Wilshire isnt a bad replacement

Gylffi's a much better idea. Third season with City and King's just not cutting the mustard any more. Just signed Carlos Fierro too; looks superb. Let's just hope he fits in, develops a taste for cobs and doesn't whinge about being homesick.

I have also just sold a young lad called Starke (signed him for free from Germany) to Ajax for £4.5million. Some bids just have to be accepted. Anyway, both Lallana and Schlupp can replace Albrighton wide left. He was an important player, but not worth over £8million.

My starting 11 at the mo is: Speroni, Cunningham/tunchev, bamba, mills, pelts, Lallana lm, Johnson, King, Kebe rm, Maynard and beckford up front!! Subs: Schmeichael, Paintsil, St ledger, Whittingham, Mceahran, Sharp !! Maynard is Smashing them in aswell as beckford and Lallana! Kebe is Fuc*ing rapid and johnson scores some screamers to! Also sharp and Whittingham also seem to score when they come on unbeaten in my first 6 games 6-1 ipswich, 2-0 notts co, 3-3 Millwall, 3-1 huddersfield, 7-0 Leeds, 4-4 borough

However I can't see how you could afford it without using the Editor and if that's the case you'll suffer later in the game with finances. You do play it how I like though, scoring masses of goals whilst conceding a fair few, clean sheets are a novelty in my game.

I need a left back as well but I need to get rid of some deadwood first. I've got my eye on Cheikh M'Bengue if I manage to free up some wages.

I made all three subs then Adebayor got injured, and Peltier got injured. Ended up with 8 men! It was the second leg as well, lost 6-3.
OriginalRobboFOX Posted 16 December 2011 Posted 16 December 2011 Took the Spurs job in 2014. Leicester offered me £25million in way of a transfer kitty, Spurs offered £36million and are in the ECL. Wish I'd stayed as didn't really weigh up the Spurs squad. It's not great bar Bale, Strootman, Isla, and Doumbia. Tried signing Verratti, Fierro, Tiexeira, and Matos from Leicester but they won't accept any offer for any of them. I even offered £25million for Verratti but they said no. Instead I've watched from afar as they sign chumps like Zaha, Zavon Hines etc. and ruin all my hard work through the past 3 seasons...
