Has any1 else had a problem with matchdays?? My laptop just crashed when loading a game.. Must be the 3D settings Any ideas?? thanks

I'm running it on my desktop and it does lag. I think that is down to my hardware and peformance though. If it wasn't so close to Christmas, I'd upgrade again. Mind you, I had the same problem last year :/

Have you put the graphical setting on low?

Ironically enough I ALWAYS set my teams to be aggressive and yet incredibly I normally end up with one of the best disciplinary records in the division, that can't be a co-incidence, maybe there's something I do that makes sure they don't do owt stupid.

I find this too, i think it's because i fine them 2 weeks wages if they get red carded.

Works as a great deterrent :thumbup:

Had a couple of hours on this last night for the first time in a while. Signed Adam Johnson and Daniel Sturridge for next to nowt and Mattia Destro on loan to boost my striking options.

I'm far behind anyone else as I've been über busy lately. Struggled first half of the first season with Leicester despite having probably the strongest squad I've ever had in the Champo. Got rid of all the usual suspects, including Abe, Vassell, Danns, Wellers and Tunch. Loaned out Nugent for half a season and sold Pantsil for £2mil to Napoli in Jan. Brought Materazzi, Soumaré (£1,2 and forced to sell to Wigan in Jan for 1,8 :( ), Sanogo, Machado, Modise, Lafata, Verratti and Fleck, Clifford, Lalkovic on loan. Got tired of Schmeichel so I got Pinto in on free in Jan along with Rivaldo, Vass and Friedrich, while Digne, Bakambu and Orr joined on loan. Ridiculously strong squad. But I wasn't in the auto spots until halfway through the season, and I didn't pull away until the last ten games. The inconsistency was probably due to not having a settled side or formation. Sanogo was terrible until the last few games where he admittedly showed his class, and got so many (long-term) injuries it's unreal. Beckford has gone down around 2 stats in all his vitals because he was out for 5-6 months.

Had a extremely fortuitous run in the FA Cup trouncing Walsall and Watford before I should've met Chelsea, but Rochdale thought otherwise and destroyed them 5-0!! Easy peasy or so I thought. They equalised after being 2-0 down at the KP stadium to take it to a replay. I got utterly outplayed at their place but scraped through because of their profligacy. In the quarters I played Doncaster who completely outplayed me too, but St Ledger and Lafata turned the game on it's head with goals in the 82nd and 86th minute. The roles reversed as I mullered Everton in the semi, but I couldn't finish them off which meant it went to penalties, where which I scraped through. By now my tactic was working well against the big sides. Met Villa in the final, and despite them getting a very soft peno after a few minutes, they switched off completely. Verratti, King, Fleck and Sanogo absolutely bossed the rest of the game. Europe it is then!

Oh and I got royally screwed over by the Thais. I managed to expand the training and youth facilities at the start of the season (completion due October 2012) only for them to cancel both entirely at the end of the season due to a 'lack of funds'. Ridiculous when you think about the TV money from Europe and PL coming up.

I also have found the FA Cup unrealistic in this game. the amount of stupid upsets u see. In my first game Blackpool won the cup after beating Cardiff in the final. There werent any of the 'big 5' teams in the quarter finals. Its the only bug i seemed to of found

The first patch on 11 produced a lot of absolutely ridiculous scorelines to be honest, I'm sure 11.1 will sort it.

Getting this bad boy sorted out now; 9th in the Prem heading into Christmas in 2nd season. All my top strikers injured but still managed to beat Norwich with Vassel and Schlupp up front. Arsenal next up.

4222 (if all fit); Schmeichel; Konchesky, Mellberg, Mills, Ruud; King, Sunny; Sinclair, Ben Arfa; Beckford, Hooper.

Playing as Fleetwood Town. Promoted in the 1st season from the BSP and now currently top of Div 2 with 37 games gone.

I definitely recommend Jamil Adam on a free for any lower league team. He bagged 34 in 41 in the 1st season and now has 27 in 36 this season and his current value is 1.3m

In the Celtic Rangers game with my mate, he won the first season, at one point was 18 points clear, I closed the gap but ran out of time. I won the league and cup the next season scoring loads, though he only lost two all season, but I lost five and didnt draw hardly any. He has destroyed me everytime we have played though, I've lost 5-0, 4-2 and 2-1. Even though I dont think his team is any better than mine. He is currenlty top and on a 30 match unbeaten run. Hein all three seasons has had millions to spend, whilst I have spent no where near as much due to Rangers as usual being in financial probelms on the game. The fact I didnt make the CL in the second season and he made the quarter finals gave him loads more money too.

And if anyone needs a good striker, get Leigh Griffiths. He is on loan at Hibs but he comes in Januray. I got him for 350k and he is amazing.

Leigh Griffiths was so last year.

Tbh, most of the signings I've made this time around are 'old pals' from former FMs. Have found very few young and affordable gems that I don't already know from older versions.

Yeah, that's one. By the way, how do his mates Erick Torres and MA Bueno turn out later in the game?

Kelvin, Musa and Joel Valencia also look decent, but WP issues. Sarabia and Oscar look excellent, but are expensive. Pretty sure Mulumbu is much improved this time around. Not convinced by Bertolacci either. My main targets this season are Mbaye Niang, Mateo Kovacic and Sidney Sam (already purchased, not new but hot diggity is he good!).

I've just started the third season on my City save and my St Pauli save is about six months in, I have no idea.

I really haven't been taken by this at all.

Or, to be fair, any computer game this year. There's a distinct danger I'm getting old. :unsure:
