Bob Weasel Fox Posted 27 December 2011 Posted 27 December 2011 We should sell / release - Moreno, Ball, Berner, Oakley We should loan / return - Fernandes, Johnson, Schlupp, Moussa We should give a further improved 5 year superbonus contract to "Richie Wellens" :xmastongue: Steady on fella, most people on here want to swop him for a bag of spuds!!!!
Jimmy Posted 27 December 2011 Posted 27 December 2011 its not that recent, he's always been a divisive player in terms opinions and he flatters to deceive a lot, his final ball is often terrible and he backs out of more tackles then Gally, but doesn't get as much stick for it
Fox92 Posted 27 December 2011 Posted 27 December 2011 I can understand people want to see certain players leave, but we have no back up. I agree to selling the likes of Dyer and Gallagher, but at the minute they are our only wide men. Weale is our back up goalkeeper, unless you want to see Conrad back etc. Surely we cannot comment on selling recent first team players untill we have signed players first? Unless you are talking about the likes of Oakley, Moreno, Ball, Berner etc who are never going to feature (I hope not anyway).
kingfox Posted 27 December 2011 Posted 27 December 2011 Nothing wrong with Dyer, but I feel we need younger and fresher players on the wing who can take players on easily, and have a better delivery. Lloyd is decent but age isn't on his side, we can and should be doing better. I would keep Gally though as maybe back-up to the first choice wingers, yes he is hit and miss but he gets us goals all of which have been key to our season so far.
MrFox781 Posted 27 December 2011 Posted 27 December 2011 Sell - weale (id rather have a potato in goal), wellens, dyer, moreno, bruno (end contract), howard, micheal ball, oakley, moussa (unfortunately dont think he is gonna get a chance here and could do better off) and johnson. Bring in - Kuszczak (Man Utd) Cameron Stewart Jamie Ward Jimmy Kebe Billy Sharp/Nicky Maynard
cc_star Posted 27 December 2011 Posted 27 December 2011 Sell - weale (id rather have a potato in goal), wellens, dyer, moreno, bruno (end contract), howard, micheal ball, oakley, moussa (unfortunately dont think he is gonna get a chance here and could do better off) and johnson. Bring in - Kuszczak (Man Utd) Cameron Stewart Jamie Ward Jimmy Kebe Billy Sharp/Nicky Maynard Stewart & Kebe could be better off where they are or could even attract attention from the usual Premiership faces, as could Sharp & Maynard. Being midtable and the chance of yet another year after this one in the Champs would surely limit our chances of getting sought after players like Stewart, Kebe, Sharp & Maynard Stranger things have happened though, I suppose
wellyfox Posted 27 December 2011 Posted 27 December 2011 Stewart & Kebe could be better off where they are or could even attract attention from the usual Premiership faces, as could Sharp & Maynard. Did no one learn anything from the summer? Money is not everything and we are not as great as people think. We won't get top players in jan other than wages we have little to offer. Different case had we been top 4/6. As for out going's very little chance of shifting any player we want rid of. Cancel the 2 loans praps Schlupp out for a loan and thats about it. Paying top wages for over rated shite means we are stuck with them all.
TheUltimateWinner Posted 27 December 2011 Posted 27 December 2011 and you'd trust them if Kasper got a serious injury? also doesn't Brennan have a broken arm or something? Yeaaahh, They are more than capable to step up to the first team. I'd put my neck on the line saying they are just as good if not better then weale.

Father Ted Posted 28 December 2011 Posted 28 December 2011 Sell: Oakley, Berner, Ball, Danns, Wellens, Beckford (he doesn't want to be here) Release: Fernandes and Johnson from their loan contracts. Loan out: Moussa I would have considered selling Pantsil but I think he could be vital in Schlupp's development.
maccfox Posted 30 December 2011 Posted 30 December 2011 Kasper, Pelts & Nuge are off limits, of the rest wouldnt care who went
Happy Fox Posted 30 December 2011 Posted 30 December 2011 StringerSport Ian Stringer 1st of many pieces of info from #lcfc -as @John__Percy confirmed, Fernandes has loan ended. 2 (Berner+Fernandes) of ? gone (I think upto 10)
Happy Fox Posted 30 December 2011 Posted 30 December 2011 10 in total so that would be: Fernandes, Berner, Johnson, Ball, Moreno, Moussa, Oakley, Howard,Dyer,Pantsil
Guest MattP Posted 31 December 2011 Posted 31 December 2011 Nevermind the players you'd love to see playing in a Lestoh shirt comes 2012, which ones of the current crop would you like to be shown the door - be it permanent or temporary (on loan deals)? My Flop Five would read as following: 1. Wellens (permanent; a bag of potatoes shows more willingness to move) 2. King (should be loaned out or at least played as the attacking midfielder he once was) 3. Howard (I know we all love a bit of Big Steve (Leeds at home 2009/2010), but his time has come) 4. Dyer (permanent; I do like the guy, but apart from his pace, has little to offer) 5. Gallagher (should get a decent loan spell elsewhere; still useful with his free-kicks) Sadly, with Wellens still on a contract until 2014 and Pearson's love for the 31-year old midfield sham package, things won't change in the near future. and whose fault is that? "New contract Richie, yes, very good, very good. Nice player, good player" I agree with you mind, he's shit and it just shows how out of control Sven was he thought he deserved a 3 1/2 year deal. I'd keep King, he excelled under NP last time, Dyer I would keep as an impact player, off the bench for the last 20 mins. In - Jordon Rhodes would be my top target, Cameron Stewart next. After that I'm not bothered, it cant be any worse than some of the overpaid shit that couldnt care less about the club we have seen over the last 12 months.
theboxman1986 Posted 31 December 2011 Posted 31 December 2011 release: Oakley Moreno Ball Berner Sell: Wellens (Offer him to Doncaster to sweeten the deal for sharp maybe?) Dyer Howard Paintsil Replace with maybe 2 wingers 2 strikers 2 centre midfielders not sre who though
Guest Mee-9 Posted 31 December 2011 Posted 31 December 2011 It's fair to say about players being released or sold, but what players want to leave? I'm guessing we'll see alot of players out. Logan (Permenant) St Ledger, Ball, Pantsil, Berner, Moreno, Oakley, Johnson, Fernandes, Moussa
LCFCmatt Posted 31 December 2011 Posted 31 December 2011 Why does everyone want Wellens out of the club? He's a class player, but because he's had a couple of below average games recently, you all want to get rid of him and bring in players who aren't half as good.
bluearmyfox23 Posted 31 December 2011 Posted 31 December 2011 Because he hasn't just had a couple of bad games he has been shite all season !!
Leicesterpool Posted 1 January 2012 Posted 1 January 2012 Going back to Ian Stringers list players who he thinks we leave- Jermaine Beckford- Personally can't see him leaving just yet, besides the way he's playing at the moment I can't see anybody being interested in him. Jeff Schlupp- Agree I think he'll go out on loan to someone, I'm thinking more league one level Matt Oakley- I won't be surprised if Pearson gives him a chance, so I don't Oakley will be leaving just yet Darius Vassell- I don't think Vassell we'll leave just yet, I think Pearson would want to have a look at him first John Pantsil- Agree I think he'll be released Michael Ball- Agree I think he'll be released Sean St Ledger- 100% clear he's going though I think it will be a loan deal for now and a permanent deal in the summer Michael Johnson- Also agree I think he'll be gone just before our trip to Forest Kasper Schmeichel- I don't think he'll leave this January, but I think it's certain he'll be gone in the summer, I won't be surprised if it's Tottenham with Friedel retiring at the end of the season there Bruno Berner- Going to be released Personally another name I think will be going is Andy King a couple of premier league clubs are rumored looking at him.
Happy Fox Posted 1 January 2012 Posted 1 January 2012 Kasper is off I fear , he will go I am absolutely certain of that as we are noway near the promotion race sadly
Fox1651 Posted 1 January 2012 Posted 1 January 2012 Oakley Moreno St Ledger Fernandes Johnson Berner Ball Moussa (loan) Schlupp (loan)
Callabinho Posted 1 January 2012 Posted 1 January 2012 I think there will be a surprise exit, and I think it will be Kasper.
Happy Fox Posted 1 January 2012 Posted 1 January 2012 I think there will be a surprise exit, and I think it will be Kasper. Same, can see Tottenham or any other prem club that is in need of goalie testing our resolve and surely he will be a gonner, I would personally hope we would get £4m. Use the money to buy an adequate replacement Alex McCarthy from Reading.

Use the money to buy an adequate replacement Alex McCarthy from Reading. I'm not convinced Reading will want to do any business with us whatsoever, remember how bitter it got when we went in for Long. Same might happen with Hull The throwing the money around in the past and the media hype which accompanied it has done us no favours with regards to relationships with other clubs
