Wait until the last day of the window and end up with another Beckford or maybe Ade Akinbyi will come out of retirement (if he has retired).

I hope we have a new winger and striker in by Saturday as we need to get stuck in as soon as possible. Waiting until the end of January to find out whether the likes of Sharp or Kebe want to come is too much of a gamble. If he's umming and aaaring then tell him to bollocks and move on. Would rather go back in for Simon Cox or Maynard, even.

Bettsy82 Posted 11 January 2012 Posted 11 January 2012 There is a guy working at my place who is also a coach for the youth sides at the city they only have to work so many months of the year hense the reason hes working with us for a couple of Months. He told me this morning that the Billy Sharp deal is done and Cameron Stewart will also be signing for city in the next week. Only time will tell if he is a reliable source but fingers crossed.

Babylon Posted 11 January 2012 Posted 11 January 2012 I can't believe some people, do people really think that there are players out there gagging to just come and play for Leicester? There are hungry and ambitious players out there that will be interested for sure. But if there are bids from several parties they are going to take their time and choose the one they think is best for them.... that could end up being us, it could end up being someone else. Just because they take their time does not mean they don't want to sign. On the flip side if someone does sign on the dotted line the instant the offer goes in, it doesn't mean they are dying to play for us. It could just mean they want the stupid money on offer or they had nobody else interested.
