Asha Posted 2 August 2012 Posted 2 August 2012 http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/formula1/19097514 Interesting article. I think any of di Resta, Hulkenberg and Perez would be fitting candidates for the #2 role, but I'd probably prefer Perez out the three. The possibility of either Vettel or Kubica joining Alonso in 2014 is fabulous.
isaidno Posted 3 August 2012 Posted 3 August 2012 I still think a Perez / Massa swap deal will take place, with Massa going back to sauber. Kovalainen was being hotly tipped in Budapest as massa's replacement
Nick Posted 3 August 2012 Posted 3 August 2012 Button will want to prolong his career but he won't want to be anybody's number 2.

Kovalainen was being hotly tipped in Budapest as massa's replacement That'd be pretty good. I hope Massa will find another seat in F1 - he might not be race-winning material anymore but he's still a top driver. Kovalainen I'm not sure about. Obviously he won a race with McLaren when they had the best car in 2008, but he was hardly brilliant in his two seasons there. And I'd prefer a younger driver who can become great with the team, like when Massa joined in 2006.

Amin Posted 3 August 2012 Posted 3 August 2012 I have a feeling that Massa will stay for one more year.
ADK Posted 3 August 2012 Posted 3 August 2012 Massa is terrible but then thats also partly why he has the job.
Amin Posted 4 August 2012 Posted 4 August 2012 Massa is terrible but then thats also partly why he has the job. Since Monaco he has been decent.
ADK Posted 9 August 2012 Posted 9 August 2012 Wonder if Schumacher will stay another year or not. Have to say his comeback has been poor, even casts some doubt on his first career.
Amin Posted 10 August 2012 Posted 10 August 2012 Considering his age, car and performance relative to his team-mate, I think Schumacher has been ok. He has had some incredibly unlucky things happen to him this year and his pole position lap at Monaco was very impressive.
stix Posted 13 August 2012 Posted 13 August 2012 http://jackleslief1.blogspot.co.uk/2012/08/maldonado-crashes-in-street-display.html?m=1 lol
anotherharboroughfox Posted 13 August 2012 Posted 13 August 2012 http://jackleslief1....isplay.html?m=1 lol brilliant.
Wycombe Fox Posted 31 August 2012 Posted 31 August 2012 One thing you can be sure on. If it's Spa weekend, it's raining in Belgium. One year I will go to this GP.
isaidno Posted 31 August 2012 Posted 31 August 2012 I'm expecting Raikkonen to have a charge towards the title. The Lotus/Renault/Benneton/Toleman is the fastest car now. If Alonso keeps finishing in the top 3-4 he should win it, but one dnf would change things a lot.

It's a pity Lotus won't be able to use their version of the DDRS this weekend, otherwise they could have dominated it.
Amin Posted 1 September 2012 Posted 1 September 2012 Best laps of Button's and Kobayashi's careers. Can't wait for tommorow.
isaidno Posted 1 September 2012 Posted 1 September 2012 Where did Button get the speed from ? , Fantastic Laps
ADK Posted 1 September 2012 Posted 1 September 2012 Hamilton cocked that up to be honest, going to be a good race.
Amin Posted 1 September 2012 Posted 1 September 2012 Hamilton's side of the garage went the wrong way with their setup choices whereas Button's side got it spot on. Also, Maldonado has been demoted three places for blocking.

I actually have a Sunday off tomorrow do can finally watch a race live instead of avoiding all media outlets for hours!
