Alexikokopops Posted 5 November 2012 Posted 5 November 2012 I think, in a nutshell, we can say that Vettel doesn't completely fall to pieces when he has to overtake someone, but at the same time he got a bit of luck today to finish in 3rd (even if only to move from 4th to 3rd)
anotherharboroughfox Posted 5 November 2012 Posted 5 November 2012 Can't see these interviews lasting for much longer on the podiums though, but it was rather amusing at the time. Here's hoping! They take away from the celebrations for me.
Amin Posted 7 November 2012 Posted 7 November 2012 Renault will not win a race next season. Come back and quote me on that next November.
ADK Posted 7 November 2012 Posted 7 November 2012 To be fair Renault/Lotus came out and said they wouldn't win a race a few races ago.
Finnegan Posted 10 November 2012 Posted 10 November 2012 Jesus I love Kimi. lol http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/formula1/20267305

isaidno Posted 12 November 2012 Posted 12 November 2012 HRT have been put up for sale. If I win the euro millions tommorow I might put in a cheeky bid
Trav Le Bleu Posted 12 November 2012 Posted 12 November 2012 HRT have been put up for sale. If I win the euro millions tommorow I might put in a cheeky bid I found 50p on the floor.
FoxesAreBlue Posted 12 November 2012 Author Posted 12 November 2012 HRT have been put up for sale. If I win the euro millions tommorow I might put in a cheeky bid I reckon me and my mate could turn up on a pair of lazy donkeys and go faster than the HRTs.
Brainy Posted 14 November 2012 Posted 14 November 2012 To be fair Renault/Lotus came out and said they wouldn't win a race a few races ago. as much as it was gifted to them in Abu Dhabi, they've definitely had the pace to win a couple earlier on in the season
isaidno Posted 14 November 2012 Posted 14 November 2012 Really looking forward to the race this weekend. The track looks really good. Uphill climb to the first corner, a replica of the maggots/beckets/chapel sequence at silverstone and turn 9 in Turkey. Nice 7pm start time too .
Wycombe Fox Posted 14 November 2012 Posted 14 November 2012 Really looking forward to the race this weekend. The track looks really good. Uphill climb to the first corner, a replica of the maggots/beckets/chapel sequence at silverstone and turn 9 in Turkey. Nice 7pm start time too . Christ that looks dangerous. Are there any barriers to stop the cars falling off the edge and plummeting to certain driver death? Grosjean must be dreading that first corner.
Amin Posted 15 November 2012 Posted 15 November 2012 From next year, practice sessions and qualifying will have the same DRS restrictions as the race (DRS will only be available when the car is in the DRS zone). http://www.autosport.com/news/report.php/id/104254

Wycombe Fox Posted 16 November 2012 Posted 16 November 2012 I'm finding that pit siren somewhat annoying.
Amin Posted 16 November 2012 Posted 16 November 2012 Vettel 1.4 seconds clear in P1. The times should drop significantly between now and qualifying.
Amin Posted 16 November 2012 Posted 16 November 2012 Vettel miles clear in FP2 aswell Looking like a Red Bull weekend.
isaidno Posted 17 November 2012 Posted 17 November 2012 Nightmare for Ferrari. P6 & P8, dirty side of the grid. Only a mechanical failure for Vettel is going to take it down to brazil
Amin Posted 17 November 2012 Posted 17 November 2012 By the sounds of it, the dirty side of the grid is going to be horrible.
isaidno Posted 18 November 2012 Posted 18 November 2012 By the sounds of it, the dirty side of the grid is going to be horrible. Alonso's other issue is that the 2 men behind him are Grosjean and Maldonado !
Asha Posted 18 November 2012 Posted 18 November 2012 Ridiculous attempt at a prediction here, but: I can see this being all over at the first corner. Alonso will be involved in an incident and retire, meaning Vettel only has to finish third to secure it today. He'll just scrape third, behind Hamilton and Raikkonen.
