Heart-Shaped Fox Posted 14 January 2012 Posted 14 January 2012 He is lazy getting back, and seems to think he is a wing back rather than full back. Leaves us vulnerable down that side ane Vaz Tae profited today. Needs to improve.
Haydos Posted 14 January 2012 Posted 14 January 2012 Completely overrated, couldn't lace Konchesky's boots. Why didn't you tell us this when he was playing well?
Corky Posted 14 January 2012 Posted 14 January 2012 Naughton is in the Premier League and still on loan, so it would've been extremely difficult to get him back.
Guest Mee-9 Posted 14 January 2012 Posted 14 January 2012 Going forward he's fairly okay, but defensively not the best, been caught out of position sometimes. Would rather see Pantsil there when he returns, much more defensively sound. Oh and on the subject of fullbacks, Konch should play in the prem still.
Bayfox Posted 15 January 2012 Posted 15 January 2012 started brightly at the start of his city career, going backwards tho and in my opinion no better than M.Morrison.
renards Posted 15 January 2012 Posted 15 January 2012 Seem to be asking a lot of him. Often the furthest up the field, attack predictably breaks down then he’s expected to leg it down to our corner flag, happened many times, every right to be fooked. No cover from our central defenders or Danns/ Dyer supposed wide right. If the midfielders are as crap as they are and we want our defenders to set up the attacks 5 3 2 with wingbacks needs to be the way.
Charl91 Posted 15 January 2012 Posted 15 January 2012 Started of really well. Hasn't been great these past few, but then again, who has?
fleckneymike Posted 15 January 2012 Posted 15 January 2012 He's not the only player on the right side of the pitch though. First goal undoubtedly came from him getting caught upfield. Mills covered but no one covered Mills. Watch the highlights of the second goal, Gallagher is playing on the right side, when the cross goes in and the goal is scored look where Gallagher is. Before any BAMs get on my back I'm not laying all the blame at Gallagher's feet but he could have helped Peltier in that situation simply by tracking back and preventing the overlap.
teblin Posted 15 January 2012 Posted 15 January 2012 If it turns out St Ledger may stay, His way into the team may be at Right back. I believe he has done a job there for his country before.
Lambert09 Posted 15 January 2012 Posted 15 January 2012 He seems to be better going forward than defending....really would give him a chance playing in midfield
Topman Posted 15 January 2012 Posted 15 January 2012 Sometimes it's hard when ur midfield not helping out, in this case gallagher, he offers no help to peltier, he seems more comfortable with Abe infront of him
5waller5 Posted 15 January 2012 Posted 15 January 2012 I thought he was awesome for the first 15 games or so .... then seemed to lose his form .... Oh hang on a minute ... I could be talking about almost anyone ... I wonder if there is a common denominator that happened around the same time???
Wig_Wam_Bam Posted 15 January 2012 Posted 15 January 2012 I thought he was awesome for the first 15 games or so .... then seemed to lose his form .... Oh hang on a minute ... 5waller5 Posted 15 January 2012 Posted 15 January 2012 I take it you don't like Pearson then ? Go 5waller5 Svens C..k. You'll have to try that again in English if you'd like a response, I haven't got a clue what that means.
Wig_Wam_Bam Posted 15 January 2012 Posted 15 January 2012 You'll have to try that again in English if you'd like a response, I haven't got a clue what that means. Come on now I'm sure you do. Sven lover.
cosmos Posted 15 January 2012 Posted 15 January 2012 we've a team full of players who couldn't give a toss-peltier looks like he gives a toss and we're prepared to ignore a players shortcomings if only he'd try-bring back gary coatsworth!
StanSP Posted 15 January 2012 Posted 15 January 2012 What the bloody hell am I reading?! One out-of-touch game and suddenly he's not good enough to play?! Fickle ****ing fans. Out of all the players you could genuinely scapegoat, you pick a player who was being touted as a good signing in the not too distant past. My god, people need to get their heads checked if they are picking on Peltier. Yes, at fault for ONE goal yesterday, but to pick on him and say he's not good enough for the team right now is so unfair on the lad. Our whole team is performing rubbish. I know a lot of our fans crave misery and will ALWAYS look to blame someone. Right now, though, Peltier is not the one to blame. Get a ****ing grip of yourselves.
5waller5 Posted 15 January 2012 Posted 15 January 2012 Come on now I'm sure you do. Sven lover. Sven lover? I was pleased when we recruited Sven, I don't think he should have been sacked when he was, I enjoyed his style of football and I think his signings weren't as bad as currently being made out. I was worried when NP was appointed because I dreaded his dull hoofball style and I wasn't sure if he'd get the most out of the players signed. I hope he can turn around the current predicament he finds himself in, but i have serious doubts that he will. I don't however want a new manager to be bought in prematurely again, so hope he gets enough time for us to know. If that makes me a Sven lover then so be it. Now go to bed ... You know how tired and grumpy you'll be in the morning when mummy wakes you up.

Beckford - £4m Mills - £5m SSL - £1.5m Johnson - no doubt we are paying a lot of his big wages Michael Ball - Enough said. And we didnt sign one winger. Brilliant business by Sven.

Kasper Peltier Konchesky bamba Danns Nugent Vassell Noone gets every transfer completely right .... he was honest about Ball and Johnson as risks. He signed plenty of decent players.
Walker Posted 15 January 2012 Posted 15 January 2012 Oh ****ing boo Peltier when his name gets called out then, it'll probably help his confidence since 'you pay your money'. Do you lot forget we're a CHAMPIONSHIP team, we're not gunna go around signing Gary Cahill's of this world are we. MORONS, WAKE UP!!
L4EV Posted 16 January 2012 Posted 16 January 2012 I still reckon Nugent, Bamba and Schmeichel are overrated. Dont get me wrong Schmeichel is ace but seems to let in a lot of soft goals. Needs to improve the commanding of his area.
Lee Foxier More Posted 16 January 2012 Posted 16 January 2012 What is all the hype around this guy? He's poor defensively and not exactly brilliant going forward. His fault for the two goals. You Sir are a fool.
