The lads has to want to come though. And considering he saw how lovely our fans are on Saturday it wouldn't be a shock he said no.

My thoughts aswell.

He must be thinking If I have a couple of bad games these fans are going to crucify me! Screw that!

Shame really because he's just what we need in centre midfield!

He'll be on about £3000 a week at United. He'll be offered first team football and probably treble his wages, it's these sorts of players Pearson can convince. He's never been very good at getting established players to join.

Leicester City have agreed a fee with Manchester United to sign central midfielder Danny Drinkwater, BBC Radio Leicesterunderstands.

Drinkwater, who has been on loan at Barnsley since the start of the season, is set to hold talks on Thursday.

The 21-year-old impressed Foxes boss Nigel Pearson by creating both goals as the Tykes beat City 2-1 on Saturday.

And with fears midfielder Andy King may out for several months with an Achilles injury, Pearson was keen to strengthen.

The Leicester manager has so far been frustrated in his attempts to bring in new faces to bolster his side's faltering promotion challenge.

The Foxes are 15th in the Championship table, seven points adrift of the play-off places.

But although the club have funds available, bids for Doncaster Rovers striker Billy Sharp and Hull's Cameron Stuart have failed.

Sounds promising, well hopefully anyway

My lad now is now saying that he can never get him to sign on FM.

Not a good omen

:-0

Plan B is to make the pitch as narrow as possible, won't need wingers/wide players then

Please stop relating things to FM.

That's a computer game. This is real life.

You and your lad should come join us

You're obviously not old enough to remember Brian Carey!

Just read the Twitter stuff, real life, lol mind you he's right about Robbie.

And I do think plan B has merit.

The lad sounds interesting, great if he is another Izzy or Lenon, but it would be nice to know how high up NFP's list the pad is?

He will be the long term replacement for Wellens and perhaps will go in ahead of him anyway the way his performances have been (over the season).
