I would like Morgan in but would that mean we'd have too many Centre Backs? SSL looked comfortable and composed (he has a weird deliberate passing style a la Tony Adams where he does this weird chicken elbow move) and Mills is obviously captain and £5m so would you drop him? Bamba on way out maybe? Tunch too inconsistent or (and most likely) it's all made up that we are linked with him...

If we're replacing Bamba with Morgan we're getting into the Holloway and Taylor realms of terrible transfer deals.

Morgan is not that terrible? I think he's a good solid defender that is no nonsense and good at this level - from what I've seen at least. See earlier posts by others that concur. One thing we can all agree on is that (as usual) we can't all agree if he is a good potential signing or not.

Happy Fox Posted 19 January 2012 Author Posted 19 January 2012 It might be Bamba on the way and tbh wouldn't mind if he left say he is sold for a fee of £4m that would help us in our pursuit of signing a winger or two, the Mills and St Ledger partnership is looking quite promising, and Tunchev and Wes as backups would be fine.
