When I've seen Morgan play live hes better than what I first thought. Not blessed with great pace but hes strong in the air and has exceptional strengh scores goals too. I would rather have Morgan than the Tunch or SSL. I still would like to see Bamba play in midfield but thats just me.

just asked my boss (season ticket holder at forest) what his opinion of Morgan is i got this email back...

I used to think he was a right donkey, but he's done very well over the past couple of years. He's a lump and can't run, but the best defender we've got - but probably not good enough if you are aiming for the Premiership. As we can't score and our only tactic seems to be to play for a 0-0 draw doesn't make a lot of sense to sell our best defender, but I guess we need the money for Andy Reid's latest course of slimming tablets.

He's also Forest through and through, leave him where he is. If he really was any good other clubs would have put a bid in for him if 500k is going to be enough.

Carthorse.

Looks like we'll never see defenders like Naughton and Vitor again. :(

Sadly if Bamba plays, and has a succesfull African nations, I doubt he will return a Leicester player.....

Just on a side note does anyone know if the African Nations is on the telly? Eurosport in the past

Quite similar in style of play to Wayne Brown, which worked for Pearson last time round.

What I said. People always take the piss out of layers liek them, because they look like they shouldnt be professional footballers and usually cant pass a ball (well Brown couldnt anyway!).

But they are in the team to lead, and organise. Forest have made the PO's with Morgan in the team and I think he wouldbe a perfect signing.

Why do peeps assume we are instantly getting rid of other centre halfs, Pearson can still get City going for a play off place and will need players to cover any injuries.

We see how depleted our strikeforce as become.

True, however Pearson has said he doesn't like collecting players & Shakespeare has made noises about needing to move players on

Mills, Bamba & SSL all need to be a first team, SSL went public in the Irish Press under Sven saying his move here has been a nightmare, or summink.

His reaction to be dropped when Mills & Bamba were both available again says he's not going to sit on the bench quietly & adding to that a defender who was a key part Billy Davies successful Forest side who also wouldn't happily sit on the bench

You've got the recipe for mutiny.

Sky Sports understands that Leicester City have made an improved offer for Nottingham Forest defender Wes Morgan.

An initial bid of around £500,000 was rejected by the two-time European champions.

The 27-year-old rugged centre-back is out of contract at the City Ground in the summer and Forest could be tempted to cash in on the fans' favourite during the transfer window, rather than risk losing him on a free in the summer.

Should go for Chambers instead.

Chambers is having an awful season and only has one good year at this level. Wes is the real deal and forest will be gutted

Well if you think about it logically, their whole squad has had 'shit' seasons this season.
