bald reynard Posted 19 January 2012 Posted 19 January 2012 Quite possibly St Ledger is on his way and his replacement is Wes Morgan. I'd say that's the situation as well. I'd guess that SSL has just been told to bide his time until we sign a replacement - or Bamba comes back from the African Cup. In either case, my bet is that SSL will be off before the end of the January window. I'm not so sure about Morgan though. Isn't he injured at the moment - does anyone know what the injury is, or how long he's likely to be out for ?

cc_star Posted 19 January 2012 Posted 19 January 2012 There's quite a few positive noises come out the club regarding SSL, so I wouldn't be so sure as people seem to be that he's the one on the way. Perhaps Tunch hasn't lit Nigel's fire, perhaps he doesn't fancy Bamba as part of an effective partnership... We just don't know Perhaps Chelsea are going to sign for Mills for £20m

Yep really do, never rated him highly, remember him looking like a lost little boy a couple of times when we have played them, the 3-0 and 3-2 games he was dreadful. Just a big lump and his passing is absolutely woeful. I don't generally take "team of the year" awards seriously anyway, no one can be watching every game. Didn't Andy King get in it last year?

kingfox Posted 19 January 2012 Posted 19 January 2012 He has been a formidable part of Forest's defence in the last couple of season's, him and Chambers on merit were the best central defensive pairing in the Championship the last two season's. This season hasn't gone according to plan though, yes they have looked shite but Morgan hasn't been apart of the defence recently because of injury. He is a very decent defender, but I would prefer someone younger.

Get ready for another avelanche on Monday when Beckford has a shocker. I've seen Morgan 10-15 times and I've never been impressed with him.
