bjblyth Posted 19 January 2012 Posted 19 January 2012 Derby County are offering 2 tickets for £20 for the match against us, on Groupon. I wish our club would do things like this, it's a bargain for 2 football match tickets at most levels! But anyway, head to Derby's local deals on Groupon if you want to go to the game for cheap. You'll need to lay low though as the tickets are for the home end!

AKCJ Posted 19 January 2012 Posted 19 January 2012 You had me interested until the last sentence. No doubt we'll be paying over that for one ticket.
Finchy Posted 19 January 2012 Posted 19 January 2012 I sat in the Derby home end for the 4-0 in '98. Very hard to lay low, but they'd all left by half time so it was ok.
bjblyth Posted 19 January 2012 Author Posted 19 January 2012 I know we support Leicester, didn't seriously mean we should buy them and sit amongst sheepshaggers - I posted as more of a point that the club should do a similar marketing thing for tickets for us at the KP!

This is the only reason derby get average attendances there always doing offers, my mate hasnt to pay anything for his last 2 season tickets
ScouseFox Posted 19 January 2012 Posted 19 January 2012 Surely you'd only sit in the home end if there was no other way of watching it. It's on tv, in every pub in Leicester (I assume), which is free, you can do what you like (within reason), and get on the ale. Surely that's a better option.
Kitchandro Posted 19 January 2012 Posted 19 January 2012 This is the only reason derby get average attendances there always doing offers, my mate hasnt to pay anything for his last 2 season tickets You'll never hear them admit it though. A load of them think they have great support
FuriousFox46 Posted 19 January 2012 Posted 19 January 2012 You'll never hear them admit it though. A load of them think they have great support THEY ARE MASSIVE!
Finchy Posted 19 January 2012 Posted 19 January 2012 You'll never hear them admit it though. A load of them think they have great support They really do. The same fans that only take a few hundred down the road to Coventry with a buy 1 get 1 free ticket deal.
The Year Of The Fox Posted 19 January 2012 Posted 19 January 2012 Scummy club. Yet they then brag about how good their home support is. Can't stand the cnuts but I won't be bothering with this at £30 odd quid on a Thursday night. Not when they're paying £10 each
bluearmy7 Posted 19 January 2012 Posted 19 January 2012 i dont give a toss i'll go in there end 60 quid or 20 quid its a no brainer, i'll tell the mrs when we get there
Charl91 Posted 20 January 2012 Posted 20 January 2012 I already bought mine from there Derby end for me!
jonlcfc1990 Posted 20 January 2012 Posted 20 January 2012 Pick a block get all of the lcfc fans to buy in that block no reason to lie low Leicester aggro owa owa
goose2010 Posted 20 January 2012 Posted 20 January 2012 crazy really as groupon take 50% of the deal as well so derby are making £5 a ticket!
steveherbe Posted 20 January 2012 Posted 20 January 2012 crazy really as groupon take 50% of the deal as well so derby are making £5 a ticket! A Fiver to watch derby? Overpriced in my opinion. should be 50p and a free program.
halfpipe Posted 20 January 2012 Posted 20 January 2012 Pick a block get all of the lcfc fans to buy in that block no reason to lie low Leicester aggro owa owa Lmao, let's do it... I'm not even kidding . I'm going with the girlfriend (Note: she's a Derby fan).. And seeing as we both support different clubs, I might as well give in and sit with the sheepshaggers if it's gonna save me 40 smackers. Either way, I'll be wearing my LCFC shirt under a hoody or coat of some sort as to easily display a proper teams shirt after we've kicked some booty. So who's with us!? Let's pick a block lads and all get together for some good ol' banter in with the Derby fans . End of the day, it's £10 a ticket, which is a steal considering the amount of banter to be had . I'll be buying my tickets today, so if anyone can suggest a block or state where they've already got their tickets, then I'll buy in the same place (y). C'mon you blues!

casablancas Posted 20 January 2012 Posted 20 January 2012 How does this actually work? Do you download like an Eticket?
cosb6 Posted 20 January 2012 Posted 20 January 2012 I'm sure this breaks the FA Rules on ticket sales. They have to offer home and away tickets at the same prices / discounts. Email to FA coming up!
Craig Posted 20 January 2012 Posted 20 January 2012 I'm sure you're allowed a couple of 'local promotions' (only home fans) a season?
