ivarti Posted 21 January 2012 Posted 21 January 2012 Website Soccervoice rates the top 20 websites on football. Two Leicester City sites are among the top 20 independent fansites. http://soccervoice.com/top20.htm Ratings are done on content and design
Webbo Posted 21 January 2012 Posted 21 January 2012 Website: Foxes TalkLanguage: English Type: Forum Focus: Leicester Review: This is a must for Leicester fans. The one place to be to get your views through and always updated from dedicated fans. Just a fantastic forum Only 20th? Well deserved plaudits anyway. Must admit I'd never heard of the cunning fox.
ivarti Posted 21 January 2012 Author Posted 21 January 2012 Foxes Talk is not rated as number 20, but in the list of 20 sites, no ratings among them
James. Posted 21 January 2012 Posted 21 January 2012 Fantastic achievement. Well done Mark. Must be some link between The Cunning Fox and Foxestalk because when you go to CF and click on Forum it directs you here.
Nick Posted 21 January 2012 Posted 21 January 2012 It's a newspage with some bits and bobs on it though the forum section links to foxestalk - Grammar Nazi's shouldn't read the articles - it may lead to upset. Only 20th? Well deserved plaudits anyway. Must admit I'd never heard of the cunning fox.
Captain... Posted 21 January 2012 Posted 21 January 2012 Congratulations to the Foxes talk team, but I am genuinely very surprised that FT is on that list, without wanting to cause any offence it is just a Forum, a very nice well run forum and better than a lot of fan forums I stumble across, but it doesn't offer anything more than a place to air your views. My house mate is a Liverpool fan and is a member of www.liverpoolway.co.uk and I often have a look to see what he is laughing, it is a forum, very similar to foxes talk, but also incoporates a lot more, news articles, match reports, associated blogs and podcasts, monthly newsletter and I would say it is better than Foxestalk, except it is all about Liverpool.
ivarti Posted 21 January 2012 Author Posted 21 January 2012 The thing with the Liverpool way site, could be that you can't really judge the site on what it is. It is a forum, a news site and maybe something more. Foxes Talk is a great forum, simple as that, judged on what it is and how it is working. Many forums around are not easy to register to, and many are closed for the real opinion. Foxes Talk is easy to use and gives great value for the visitor. Liverpool Way might also be good, but Foxes Talk is a site that "has it all" to be a forum, and judged as that. Simply a great site and value for fans
ivarti Posted 21 January 2012 Author Posted 21 January 2012 Cunning Fox is mainly a website about Leicester City, and links to Foxes Talk as the forum to use for visitors to the site. Much better than trying to build their own forum, which would only be stupid, when you have foxes talk around.

Simply a great site and value for fans Fair enough, i guess it depends what the criteria is, as a forum it is hard to have any complaints, and does still amaze me how shit some other forums are, one thing the liverpool way forum and others have is a more developed reputation system, on here you just plus 1 a comment, but on other forums you can give positive and negative marks on posts, and each user has different reputation points so a positive on a post from someone with a high reputation improves your reputation much higher than from someone with lower reputation. But some people get so obsessed with reps and negs that they get in to neg wars, and start lots of posts bitching about being negged or boasting about their rep, but it is funny to see new users get a hammering for text talk and see how quickly they evolve and start writing properly.

Webbo Posted 22 January 2012 Posted 22 January 2012 Tbh and not wishing to piss on anyone's chips but there are 2 Everton sites and 2 Arsenal sites as well. It could be that the people who have compiled that list are Everton, Arsenal and Leicester fans.

General Smuts Posted 23 January 2012 Posted 23 January 2012 Aren't that lot from TCF all Scandinavian? They also know feck all about City. This is TCF's team of this century with players that never cost more than either a nominal fee or came in on a free transfer or a season loan, would have worked for me and saved the club a lot of worries and £ 10 to £ 20 million in chash.Squad: Goalkeepers: Royce (free), Arphexad (free), Defenders: Hobbs (nominal), Pantsil (free), Thatcher (nominal), Stearman, Vitor (loan), Mattock, Dabizas (nominal), Johansson (nominal), Solano (free), Midfielders: Nalis (free), Izzet (nominal), Savage (nominal), Lennon (nominal), Nalis (free), Guppy (nominal), Stewart, King, Gilliespie (nominal), Hignett (free), Gradel, Forwards: Ferdinand (free), Bent (loan), Dickov (nominal), Fryatt (nominal) Sturridge (nominal) Point proven.
Finnegan Posted 23 January 2012 Posted 23 January 2012 This place would be nothing without my posts. Neither would Talking Balls.
