Official Keep Sean St Ledger Campaign

Dear Mr Pearson

We, the undersigned, request and require you to take all necessary action to retain Sean St Ledger's services at Leicester City Football Club.

It has come to our attention, that you have been evaluating and considering options for the replacement of existing Leicester City Centre Back players. One of those options, has been the reported selling and transfer of registration of Sean St Ledger. We believe that discussions have taken place for his sale to Ipswich Town / Leeds United / Huddersfield Town AND the recruitment of a replacement player in the (ungainly) shape of Wes 'I've got only one (left) foot and can't run fast to save my life' Morgan. IF this news is correct, you are deluded and in need of chastisement. The aforementioned Sean St Ledger, has been the best Centre Back partner for Matt 'rush of blood to the head and can't pass for toffee' Mills, looks like a Premiership player with his reading of the game, two-footed ability, calmness and skills on the ball. He looks a much better Centre Back (in the team context) than the (alternatively talented) Sol 'I'm really a bit bonkers and don't want to think too much about my defensive duties' Bamba. Sean St Ledger MUST BE KEPT and there should be no more talk of his sale - at least, during what I understand is euphemistically called, the January Transfer Portal.

Yours ever etc etc the following Leicester City Football Club adherents:-

If we can see this in the stands you don't think NP can see it? After the way he has conducted himself on and off the pitch in training ETC maybe he's ready to knuckle down and start trying harder. To be honest Bamba is away so he's getting game time it's up to him to carry this form on when Bamba comes back or will he just sulk again

He's had two superb games for us back to back.

However I cant help feeling as both were on TV he is showcasing himself in the shop window so to speak.

We'll see in the next few days I guess.

I don't understand. He's had one good game under us and we now desperate to keep him? You can't count Forest who hadn't scored in 9 of there last 10 games .

One good game doesn't count for much considering how poor he HAD been performing. If he continues to keep the goals out then I'll want him to stay but it's only been one game?

I understand that this is a knee jerk reaction to when he done did a skilly wills yesterday but in all honesty he is a more than competent squad player and is an adequate replacement for Bamba whilst he's in Africa. Doubtless Mills will get himself another suspension any time soon as well so he has a part to play in the squad along with Tunchev.

I do however understand that he wants to be playing games to make sure he's in the Ireland squad for the Euro's and would fully understand if he left for Ipswich to play with Darren O'Dea.

yeah, all those games sat on the bench whilst Mills & Bamba failed to hit it off, disgraceful performances from SSL :|

But, yeah he wasn't great on his limited appearances under Sven or NP, but firstly who was? secondly it's not like he had a run, but now there's some consistency it looks like we may actually be able to perform a partnership at the back for the first time since Brown left

Leave it with Nige I reckon. He has played well with Mills but would does he play as well with Bamba. Still quite like the idea of a seasoned champ player like Morgan

Bar his good performances of late, last night at full-time he caught my eye personally, he genuinely looked like it meant the world to him.

I never understand the stick St Ledger gets from some fans, in the games he's played this season he's only made 1 mistake against Bristol the rest of the time he's a very calm and assured centre back who is technically a very good footballer and always seen to make the right decision. Personally he's my favourite player this season due to his appetite and enthusiasm he's shown that he's willing to stay and fight for his place
