Phil Gee's Mullet Posted 25 January 2012 Posted 25 January 2012 HESKEY TIME! Bit harsh, but funny as Fu*k!
_Fatboyslow_ Posted 25 January 2012 Posted 25 January 2012 I really think it depends on where we are. If we are in the same league and he is ok with a pay as you play deal then great. I don't think his motivation is a issue. Just think about it, kasper to hesky to .......... Goal Should we get promoted then I guess no. If we could get him on loan now YES
Narborough_fox Posted 25 January 2012 Posted 25 January 2012 Always said he's finish his career with us and in the summer said he wanted one last season before, if possibly, moving to us for free so he doesn't cost us any money. He wants to be back, I want him back. Come home Emile!
Happy Fox Posted 25 January 2012 Author Posted 25 January 2012 Would he add anything to the team, you betcha, his holdup play is right up their, would be beneficial to Nugent and Beckford.
LCFC FOX Posted 25 January 2012 Posted 25 January 2012 Would be the laughing stock of football if we do.... but I would sooner have Heskey over Howard. Howard has to go if we get Heskey. Wouldn't bare it if those two went up front together
Salieri Posted 25 January 2012 Posted 25 January 2012 Would be the laughing stock of football if we do.... but I would sooner have Heskey over Howard. Howard has to go if we get Heskey. Wouldn't bare it if those two went up front together Hardly
LCFCCHRIS Posted 25 January 2012 Posted 25 January 2012 YESS just seems right but i cant see heskey as a coach
Bob Weasel Fox Posted 25 January 2012 Posted 25 January 2012 Heskey coming to Leicester for his last season or so in football as a player would be a great move potentially
SMX11 Posted 25 January 2012 Posted 25 January 2012 Yes as long as it is a pay as you play deal. The man is a physical wreck.
wattolcfc Posted 25 January 2012 Posted 25 January 2012 Imagine Bruno scoring the winning goal in the play-off final to get us back to the promised land - stuff dreams are made of!
Bob Weasel Fox Posted 25 January 2012 Posted 25 January 2012 Imagine Bruno scoring the winning goal in the play-off final to get us back to the promised land - stuff dreams are made of! Would be superb wouldnt it
Chap84 Posted 25 January 2012 Posted 25 January 2012 As others have said he's surely better than Howard! Also he put money in to keep us afloat so return the favour an bring back Bruno ...
Jace Posted 27 January 2012 Posted 27 January 2012 Yes just for the novalty value! I think we've had more than enough novelty value this year
My only Leicester! Posted 27 January 2012 Posted 27 January 2012 No thanks, would rather look to bring in new players than old faces. Loved the bloke last time but it would just be a novelty signing imo
ozleicester Posted 28 January 2012 Posted 28 January 2012 He's never scored enough to be a super sub. And as for the rest of what you say. A football club and huge wages are not a place for sentiment. Anyway I would rather remember him for what he has done for us. And not someone who came back struggled to get in the squad and hardly ever fit. Supersub isnt just about scoring, it can be about creating for others..or just holding the ball. When i mentioned wages.. i stated that the Manager and owners know what we can and cant afford, i really dont understand why fans spend so much time foccussed on signing fees and wages, of course we dont want admin again but well organised owners and managers know what they can spend, if someone like Heskey fits in their wage plans i dont care how much.
Happy Fox Posted 28 January 2012 Author Posted 28 January 2012 We axed a January move because of his injury http://www.mirrorfoo...cle858475.html# Emile Heskey could still have a future at Aston Villa – even though no talks have started on a new contract. Leicester axed a January move after Heskey got injured. Villa will keep the 34-year-old until his deal runs out in the summer.
